Worst experience ever had in an event space! We held my Aunts 50th Birthday party at this establishment. we spent all day from 9 am decorating until 6 pm for her event to start at 8pm. they had viewings while we were decorating. people touching and moving our decor.
We had 200 chairs we had to move in our own and we were offered no help by the staff nor were we instructed on where to place things. We had a bartender by the name of Ashely who was horrendously disgusting and rude. she came into the venue while we were decorating with a very mean girl attitude come up to us in a passive aggressive manor pressing us about items we had and drinks we brought in for the guests.
During the event she walked through multiple times with an attitude. no one was properly served by the bar staff. we were dismissed and even told they weren’t allowed to serve us. we paid for bartenders and some of our guests were denied purchase of any alcohol and denied even a bottle of water.
She then proceeded to call the police and instructed several other staff members to call the police on our event. The event was not rowdy in any way shape or form. as soon as the birthday girl walked in and completed her entrance then the police arrived and shut down the entire event. we were then told to leave. guests were not served food, everyone was abruptly kicked out of the venue.
When we tried to clean up after the fact they turned off the lights and continued telling us to leave despite trying to collect our decor from the venue. they gave us a little time then shut off the remainder of lights and told us to come back in the morning.
on arrival some of our decor was damaged. The Factory turned out to be the worst venue for us to have an event. Denied our guests beverages, more than half of the guests were unable to be served and our event was interrupted and shut down before the end time of our event. the contract was broken multiple times with no regards or care by the staff. That Bartender Ashley should be fired. horrible manners and customer service. We will never book an event here and this will never be an establishment that we recommend.

I wish I could give zero stars. Don’t come here unless you want to get rude treatment. My mom had her 50th birthday event here Friday October 17th, and the bartending staff were disgustingly rude. They didn’t serve the guests drinks. My mom catered her own drinks for the party for her guests and they didn’t want to serve her guests the drinks my mom provided for her guests . They were also saying if my mom wants drinks served she would have to pay $2,100 dollars. I think her name is Ashley but she’s one of the bartenders and she had an attitude the entire time. She was threatening to fight guests & apparently she had an attitude all day when everything was getting set up. On top of that my mom spent thousands of dollars at the venue for them not to help set up for her party. We were kicked out of my mom’s event and the cops were called twice. My mom didn’t get to cut her birthday cake. We were being rushed to leave the event space and since we couldn’t pack up all the decorations so quickly, we were told to come back the following day. When we came back we couldn’t find few of my mom’s enlarged photos from her party. Made some calls no one had them. I went outside and they threw out my mom’s photos like trash ( I will attach photos below ). This was supposed to be a memorable day for my mom to celebrate her milestone 50th birthday. My heart breaks for her. DO NOT BOOK AN EVENT WITH THE FACTORY. You will be treated with no respect whatsoever. Also please teach your bartender proper etiquette and how to treat their guests. Ashley deserves to be fired for how she acted and treated my mom’s guests. My mom deserves to get all her money back.

We met with Sherlett which clearly told us she is “The Owner” of this business and “owner of 2 other venues at a hotel in Long Island.” At first she went upstairs to her office and said the date was available. When we said “NO” to hiring her over priced personal decor business, she suddenly said the date was not available. So we inquired about alternate dates and she immediately said not available. Hilton mentioned she was busy setting up her decor for an upcoming party and said had no time to continue entertaining our inquiry!
I decided her extreme unprofessionalism was despicable.’ We searched on line their reviews on Google and Yelps platform and found that she Lied! She is Not “the Owner”. Shameful! Sherlett does not have the best interest of her employer Kadosh “the factory Freeport” no accountability, no supervision! She is allowed to treat customers like myself with minimal and deceitful information. If you don’t believe this review. You will risk spending money on an unreliable and untrustworthy event space

My niece got married there. She asked no flowers, there were flowers. No drinks during happy hour. No plates for wedding cake. We couldn't hear anyone talking due to music to loud that we spent most of our time outside just to talk to friends and family and also a bartender dressed inappropriate. Belly hanging out with stretch marks... Sad

Both Sherlett & Ash were a pleasure to work with and answered ALL of my inquiries timely so this is in no way representative of their amazing service. The venue itself its spacious and accommodated my vision. Overall, it’s a great value.
However, I took 2 stars off my rating due to the nasty behavior of their bartending staff. I can’t even explain how embarrassing it was to have NUMEROUS guests tell me after the fact how rude & dismissive the two bartenders were. They refused to serve my guests water; and instead of letting them know politely that it’s self service, they simply brushed off my guests. They did the same with soft drinks, telling my guests “that’s not ours so we can’t give you that” when I bought and provided EVERYthing at that bar aside from ice.
To anyone considering planning an important event here, if you want your guests to be treated with respect and integrity, you may need to just pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Unfortunately you get the service you paid for. They left a horrible impression on my family and friends.

I want to thank Sherlett (the Manager), Ashley who was the bartender (and who also recommended a signature drink beforehand which everyone including me loved) and Joe (at Unique Rentals SFX) for helping to make my day memorable.
I recently had my oldest daughter’s wedding ceremony at the Factory.I was very fortunate to have had tremendous help with my event from the Amazing Manager Sherlett Hilton. The Manager was present the entire event and was very helpful especially considering there was some last minute items I needed which she kindly provided. I must say that her professionalism was exceptional and would definitely recommend her for any future events

Held my daughter's Quinceañera here and it was amazing! The decor by was amazing and the catering they recommended is outstanding! Sherlett Hilton the venues General Manager is absolutely fantastic to work with, her decor was amazing and beautiful! Our event had 100 people and it could've fit more. The staff is polite and was extremely helpful with all of our questions and needs. Highly recommend The Factory!!!

This place was very misleading. Over price I paid for the bar and they still charge my guest $15.00 a drink. The clean up crew was not there at the end. I could not use the kitchen to warm up the food’ they was charging me for that. They tried to get every penny they could out of me additional fee for everything after the contract. The staff was not professional at the bar I believed they was robbing my guest of there money after I paid for drinks.I wanted to use the tv to do a slide show they said $300.00 just to use your tv. I wanted an extra hour they said $500.00 more wow. I would gave the a 0 but that is not here. A contact is a contract.

I made an appointment to view this location as I was looking for a space to host the reception part of my wedding that could hold about 200 people. We arrived early for the appointment and started to go in when we saw other people going in as well. When we spoke to them they said they had an appointment 30 minutes before us and were running late so we let them go. We continued to just wait in the car, we saw them through the windows and waited we actually had no issue with this part. When our appointment time came around they were still talking so we waited as they were upstairs talking and didn’t want to rush them. 15 minutes into our time they still didn’t come down yet and we saw another group of people walking in, so we went as well. The other group told us they were scheduled for an appointment the same time as us but were also running late. When the person came to show us the venue they went straight for the other group and started showing them around and told us to look around. Personally I didn’t mind this, until I realized they also went upstairs and now we had to wait another 30 minutes for them to finish. If we were going to show the venue space to ourselves we would’ve just come in with the other group and did it 30 minutes earlier. This entire interaction rubbed us funny so we decided to just leave and then I never heard from the venue again. I believe they need to do better in their customer service area, but that’s all I can comment on.
