When in Freeport, NY you will see many Salvadorian and Dominican restaurants all up and down the road. However, if you find yourself extremely hungry for some of this tasty type of food, it's worth the drive to Freeport! As soon as you walk in the restaurant, it looks just like all of the other restaurants in the area. What makes it so charming and great is the owner Anthony and the food. I ordered a Tamales de Carne for the low price of $2.50 and out came a plate with a huge Tamale wrapped in plantain leaves. As soon as I unwrapped the leaves and cut into the tamale with my fork, I instantly was brought back to another place and time. The taste was incredible. Top it off with a Cafe Con Leche and you've got a great meal. This place serves beer and wine as well. Open 7 Days a week. 11am -11pm
