I came here with my whole family. The food and service were great. We really enjoyed the food. I forgot to take food of my spaghetti pomodoro, but I ate it all. It was delicious. I'll definitely be back in the future.

We ate at Acquista this past weekend, after St. John’s graduation. As always, the food and service were excellent. This place is one of the things we will miss in Queens.

From the moment I sat down until ordering, I waited at least 15 minutes. I tried waving to get attention to order, but no staff responded. Finally, when an employee came, they said they couldn't take my order and that I had to wait for someone else to serve me. I continued waving, and another employee noticed but ignored me. On my third attempt, I finally got an employee to come over, which clearly showed the restaurant lacked management, let alone an owner who cared about customers. After ordering, I waited another 30 minutes and approached to ask why the wait was so long today. I originally wanted to chat with them about my feelings and dissatisfaction without intending to leave. Since I'd already waited so long, of course, I would continue waiting. The owner said I lacked patience, but was he right? Would I spend 10 years supporting this place if I lacked patience? Are you telling customers that slow service is just how it is and impatient people aren't welcome? Isn't that contradictory? In about 45 minutes from entering to leaving, I only ate a salad, which I paid for. Ultimately, the reason I decided to leave was due to the attitude of the owner and staff (I had supported this place for over 10 years under a different owner). Blaming me for impatience when it's your fault the customer waited so long? If you had apologized professionally or expressed sincere regret for slow service, I would have understood. But instead, you dismissed me with various excuses and a bad attitude, which infuriated me. I am not satisfied with this approach that essentially tells me to accept slow service or leave. I have no desire to dine in an unprofessional restaurant where customers are rushed out. I came here to spend money, but I don't feel respected; instead, I sense serious racial discrimination from the owner. Don't try to cover up your actions because of your discrimination; that's why the owner doesn't realize their own problems. In the service industry, you should listen to customers to improve your restaurant's shortcomings. As an owner, if you don't accept feedback, you won't make any progress. Dining should be enjoyable, but under your leadership as the new owner, I don't feel joy. This is the impression I've had since the new owner took over, and I hope this helps new customers.

I have been going to this place for the last 20 years since I was St. John’s University student. New ownership brought a different atmosphere, different taste of the same dishes. My favorite focaccia bread and tiramisu are not the same anymore. I won't be ordering that for sure. I didn't like it.

The pasta here is very good. Like actually good. The tiramisu is also very good. Service was subpar. Especially for a Saturday night. Only 2 servers working. Ordered Fried Calamari but it never came out so after we got the pasta dish we cancelled the calamari.

My family and I use to come here 10-15 years ago and it was always delicious, quality food. I went here for the first time in years and was so disappointed. Each person in my party - there was 5 of us - was let down with what we ordered. Flavors were bland, the chicken milanese wasn't crispy and felt as if it had been reheated, the pasta was average. Good times here but sadly not what it use to be.

I ordered to go the Spaghetti with meatballs very dry and tasteless, the garlic bread was horrible. They put raw garlic on top and no butter. The Penne ala Vodka was ok. Too pricey for the quality of food. Will never order from this pace again.

Food was okay. They have maybe one or two dairy free options so I struggled to find something to eat. Server didn’t offer any suggestions or modifications. I ended up ordering pasta with marinara sauce … it was okay. I think I make better pasta at home. I asked for more hot water for my tea but they forgot about it. I would probably not go back here or suggest it to any one else either.

Finally ?. Beautiful food that has amazing true Italian flavor and the chef is from Sicily. Chicken parmigiana was excellent and the sauteed broccoli rabe was fresh and beautiful with garlic and olive oil. Thank you for making my tummy happy ??. And I had it delivered!
