“There was 5 of us and all 5 were amazing. My sister and brother in.law were so excited they remember your dishes you prepared at Moonbrook Country Club, we will be back GREAT FOOD.and GREAT.”
“Stopped by on a quick trip to Salamanca on a Friday afternoon, stopping in around 5 pm. There were several vehicles in the parking lot, always a good sign at rural restaurants in my experience. We sat at the bar and were immediately waited upon getting our drinks quickly. They had your standard bar selection, just what you'd expect with Southern Tier beer on tap. The interior has a quirky outdoorsy atmosphere, there are antique guns everywhere on the walls. Cool animal mounts are abundant, highlights include: jackalopes, a warthog, and possibly the largest taxidermy squirrel I've ever seen. The bar top was also clean, no crumbs or sticky spots. The menu had a good variety of offerings: maybe 15 apps, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. The people I was with were raving about the clam chowder soup. So I had to try it, i love soups and get them with almost any meal. They had about 5 specials written on a board by the door. The French Onion Prime Rib caught my eye. It can be a risk, but I've had some of the best prime rib in places like this. Our soups came out quickly and it was pretty good clam chowder. It's a thicker chowder and very creamy with nice chunks of potato and a decent amount of clams. Served with a package of oyster crackers, I added a little black pepper and housed the bowl. The side salad from the prime rib came out almost at the same time. It's a side salad that comes with a big chunk of beef, let's be honest it's not why you're ordering the meal, but it was fresh and their Italian dressing was above average. You're not just getting Wishbone in a cup.The star of the show was the French Onion prime rib. I order mashed potatoes and gravy as my potato, they came in a small crock with the steak. I ordered it medium rare and it came with a generous amount of caramelized onions and melted cheese that was broiled to a light golden brown. The steak came out a little closer to medium than medium rare, probably a byproduct of melting the cheese, but it was delicious none the less. The beef was tender and the flavor combination was awesome. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good, nothing to get excited about but provided a nice compliment to the prime rib. The Horseshoe Inn was a great experience: quick service, good food, and an interesting atmosphere. It wasn't super busy when we were there with maybe 4 other parties in the restaurant. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area, maybe try the wings and French onion soup next time.”
“Tasty food and ice cream concoctions except milkshakes. I've had milkshakes twice and they're more like watered down vanilla milk. Not much taste and melted and liquidy right from the start. Recommend everything except milkshakes.”
“Was close to where I was at dinner time. Popped in to try them out on a local recommendation. I ordered a mushroom provolone burger, and my god, I honestly think it's the best burger I've ever had. The patty must have been a full pound, perfectly cooked, and assembled in a way the toppings weren't sliding out all over the place. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving them a try.”
“Definitely a nice place to stop for food pizza and wings. Super busy on a Saturday with walk-ins and call-ins but theybwere busting it out! We waited about 15 minutes for dine in.Kid-friendliness: It's pizza!Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free pizza”
“Great place! Love having a couple drinks at the bar before dinner. Bar is small but very friendly and comfortable. Then a nice quiet dinner. Food is excellent and all staff are great!”
“Very nice. Enjoyed our Ruben sandwiches. Restaurant holds 19 people, Folks were coming & going while we were there. Very friendly. Service was quick in taking our order and getting our food on the table. Neat & Clean.”
“great tasting coffee. great customer service. I go here as often as i can for my morning coffee. They treat everyone with the utmost respect and deserve the utmost respect in return, even if some entitled people feel they are more important than everyone else.”
“Went here last night for the first time. What a gem! We had tacos and a burrito. The atmosphere was so pleasant and the food was out of this world...so fresh and tasty. Our server was Alia, and she was attentive without being intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back.”
“Hubby & I went to the labyrinth today for a lunch date. I had heard about this place and while we were in Jamestown today I suggested we go here and boy am I glad we did! The service was awesome the food was spectacular and the restaurant atmosphere was so quaint & cozy!!! It was so hard to choose what to order because everything sounded so delicious! The wait time to get our food was very minimal, it came fresh & warm and the presentation was wonderful! The parking was plentiful had no problem finding a space at lunch time!!! We cannot wait to go back here again! I highly recommend…You won’t be disappointed!”
“really only complaint I have is the eggs.. we had a party of 8 , I ordered the corned beef hash with over easy eggs which should have a very nice runny yoke, eggs had hard yokes, 3 others ordered the eggs Benedict and the same with the hard yokes, the others had scramble eggs and French toast. idk what was going on that they messed up the eggs so bad. atmosphere was great server was great, we didn't say anything because we was on a schedule.. I'm from out of town so idk if I'll ever get there again.”
“Another local legend. A bakery you can count on for great desserts for a good price. I'm always surprised at how inexpensive it is. They also have the best french toast in the area!”
“❤️ The steak and eggs are awesome Great ☕️ too had barely ordered our food and we were served a cooked to perfection breakfast everything is homemade and the flavor reflects that also a personal favorite love love the sausage gravy ?”
“Visiting from out of town and stopped in for a drink because the place looked interesting. Sat at the bar for awhile and were ignored by the bartender. She was preoccupied with her cash drawer and finishing up with her last customers, telling them if they wanted a discount they should go to Walmart. We felt we should probably leave, because there was no acknowledgement that we were there and it was uncomfortable. All of a sudden Jason runs in to save the day! He immediately asked what he could to do for us and we were promptly served and engaged with friendly conversation. We moved down the bar to be out of the commotion with the cash drawer, and I asked Jason for a side of ice. We overheard the other bartender saying very loudly, so we could hear, that getting my ice was NOT important at all, over what she was doing. It's sad when customers are treated so rudely when we were only trying to enjoy ourselves and support a local business. Especially since we had heard that the owner is a very nice woman. Because of Jason, we ended up staying and having a good time. We were really grateful to him and left with a smile on our face. We will come again and have the wings too!! Thanks again Jason!!”
“Nice place. First time for us. Food was very good, very nice ambiance. Service was great! Would have liked to have seen a little wider choice of menu items. (Reason for the 4 star rating.) Was hoping to see chili or meatloaf, but what I had and what my wife had were both very good meals.”
“We had dinner at The Pub last night on St. Patrick's Eve. I have nothing negative to say! The atmosphere was friendly and the staff were very busy. The food was absolutely the best. We drank green beer, l had ravioli with Mary's red sauce, which was sweet, but it didn't take away as the taste was delicious. The bread, l have never had such soft, tasty Italian bread before. For desert, l had a chocolate brownie covered in snow white minty frosting that was to die for!Parking: We parked across the street on the intersected street without issues. We were there from 6-9 and as we left, it was beginning to get busier.”
“Great place for food, service and atmosphere. This place has it all. Very comfy, very reasonably-priced. I highly recommend when visiting Warren, Pennsylvania.”
“Great little pub, wonderful decor and a very welcoming staff. Tim Grissom was our bartender and definitely one of the best in Jamestown, he made our visit a great one.”
“Wonderful place for a night out, always our favorite pizza joint to eat in at because of the incredible aroma and comforting atmosphere. Pizza is piping hot and features a thin crust with a perfect balance of crunch and chew. Decent wine and beer selection to pair, doesn't need a huge menu like others as they know what they do best and they always deliver on that! It's a true staple of the Italian roots in Jamestown.”
“Elmo’s is the best in Town! I’m a born and raised Jersey girl. This is the best I can get to Jersey pizza in the area. Elmo and his crew is always very nice and the shop is always in tip top shape. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in his customers. If you want NY/Jersey pizza there’s no place but Elmo’s!! The rest are fake wanna be’s. ”
“Super-friendly and cool staff, amazing food, cocktails and small but intetesting wine list.Food is imaginative, high quality and beautifully made...a real jewel of a restaurant!Vegetarian options: Eggplant curry and the whole roasted fish with grilled citrus--super yum!”

“Had a very large, complicated order and was very pleased with service and everything was correct.Kid-friendliness: Observed many families eating in. Children of all ages.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp into the restaurant. Restroom would be a problem for chair.”
“We loved going here. We are out of town people and found a place to stay last minute and with everything else closing at 9pm we decided to come here to eat and have a drink. We were the only 2 people there besides the family who owns it and they were very kind and fun to talk to, the food was great and filling, my drink was nice and strong the taco salad is a huge plate but delicious and my significant other had a reuben which he gobbled up quick with a white russian. I would totally recommend going here if you're looking for a laid back bar and some good conversations.”

“An Authentic Culinary Gem! El Morro Latin Cuisine exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. As for the food, it was simply divine! Every dish burst with authentic Puerto Rican flavors, transporting me to the streets of San Juan with every bite. I particularly loved the Rice and Shrimp Soup—a true culinary masterpiece! The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just looking for a taste of something new, El Morro Latin Cuisine is a must-visit destination. Highly recommended!”
“The best part of the food was the bread and the butter(bacon, blueberry and regular ).. the salmon felt like deep fried in oil.. the burgers were good ..did not try the steak.. maybe next ”
“We loved our experience. There were seven of us. Our waitress was accommodating, moving things around so as to have us sit together. Our food came out fast and was delicious. Try this place, you won't be disappointed.”
