Kathy's Cakes and Big Dipper Ice Cream

I recently went to a party that had a specialty cake done from here. It was the most sloppy looking and underwhelming thing I've ever seen. Plus it had 2 huge cracks down both the sides. Definitely not worth the money that was paid. The purchaser felt pressured to take it the way it was. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Highly recommended!! After happily agreeing to whip up a custom birthday cake on short notice (2 days), I asked if I could add on a custom cookie cake. Kathy & her staff were able to make that happen as well!

The cake was their PB Explosion, but with a sunflower theme for the birthday girl. Not only was the cake gorgeous, it was delicious, too! The cookie cake looked great, and got the nod of approval from the birthday boy. I didn't try that one myself.. I was too busy downing the pb explosion!

Thank you so much, Kathy & crew! We were all amazed by the cakes, and can't wait to come back to try your ice cream and other treats!

Not too many places offer dairy free homemade Gelato. Excellent treat. She also offers gluten-free baked goods. Check it out! Also, she is going to stay open through the winter, yippee!

I have always enjoyed after-dinner trips here, when me and my family would get ice cream or scones or whatever. During our most recent trip, we got to try all of their new state fair flavors. The flavors are very....noticable, they stand out. And i like the creativity of the idea and how different they are from anything else you might try. I actually really liked most of them. In conclusion, I think this is a great small business worth supporting

I've been regular customer here but recently that I've been going the kids that are working there don't seem to have any idea what they are doing when ordering I have to repeat myself 5 times just to get the order and then keep massively overcharging me with everything I read the receipt and I see 3-4$ upcharges im paying for extra toppings that are supposed to be included on things even after I leave a tip and then half the time the toppings arnt even in the ice cream huge lack of dedication and communication there. Loosing a customer here better off going to Scoops

Got a banna peanut butter milk shake it was like drinking a glass of milk with bannanas in it barely even cold but theres supposively ice cream in it .. when I called they told me there is nothing they can do about it and assured me there was too much stuff in it to be a milkshake. Just milk
