“Today I woke up early to get things going for my daughter’s graduation party. Around 9:30am I got a call that the venue at The Yard couldn’t happen due to power outages & broken poles and some of the food wouldn’t be available. I was in a serious pinch to figure something out and fast! I immediately began calling Nick Duskee to see if he had availability at Chubbys Sports Bar & Grill! I was having a meltdown and he literally immediately went to work on figuring things out so we could still have Ciara’s party today! We had people here from out of state and desserts made and we needed to figure it out fast! He had Candice contact me to figure out food options, space, drinks, and tables! She was there almost immediately to prep the space for us! They made the pivot so much less stressful than I could have imagined! Not only did they help us with delicious food they made, but they even cooked food that was prepped by The Yard! It went absolutely perfect! It ended up beautiful and we enjoyed it so much! I can’t thank all of them enough and I will never stop raving about Nick & his business at Chubby’s!! These are the small town businesses that step up to save you when it all comes crumbling down! “My fish dinner hung off the plate and was perfectly cooked. Fish was thick and not just a flat piece as most places serve it. Home-made onion rings were delicious. Fries were questionable but a good amount was served. Waitress was very friendly. Didn't mind the dogs because after all, my dog is usually laying in my kitchen when I cook and eat.”

“Highly recommended!! After happily agreeing to whip up a custom birthday cake on short notice (2 days), I asked if I could add on a custom cookie cake. Kathy & her staff were able to make that happen as well! The cake was their PB Explosion, but with a sunflower theme for the birthday girl. Not only was the cake gorgeous, it was delicious, too! The cookie cake looked great, and got the nod of approval from the birthday boy. I didn't try that one myself.. I was too busy downing the pb explosion! Thank you so much, Kathy & crew! We were all amazed by the cakes, and can't wait to come back to try your ice cream and other treats!”

“ice cream is always good lines are big a lot of business lot of customers which shows the quality of their ice cream but their drive-thru totally horrendous no reason for holes the size of a Volkswagen and this is ongoing doesn't take much to have somebody come in there and patch a few holes if it wasn't for the drive-thru being so tore up I would recommend it but I recommend Bav,s”

A pet peeve, but also safety concern, seen employee at window handle cash and food with same gloves on and wear same gloves for multiple orders. Glad I didn't order food this time. Four or more employees were sitting outside the back of the store smoking and talking loudly. My coffee was made as ordered on the app.”
