If your questioning trying this place don’t they are nothing like you are used to. You have found a hidden gem if you eat there. I have been in food industry years ago and feel that I have seen it all but these guys are 100% real deal. From the person seating you to the outstanding waitress. They come together like a true team. They also have one of the best salad bars I have been to in quite sometime. The homemade bread is perfect! My wife and I went here with our daughter...
Tavern on the Lock is a nice bar/restaurant with a nice water view. It has outdoor seating during nice weather, and a separate bar area to enjoy drinks while you wait to be seated. Our hostess and server were personable and attentive. The food was......edible and definitely overpriced. Let's just say this is a great place to stop for a drink and nice view.
The meal and atmosphere was amazing. Had a nice little table for four next to a window. Had a beautiful view of the water and locks.
Staff was super friendly. Even though our lady was training a new person, everything went well.
Can't wait to stop back again. 🙂
