The 3.9 average review is not surprising. If you notice, Melissa does not respond to her negative reviews because she obviously does not care. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I have reached the end of my rope with the horrendous customer service. If you have an issue the answer is always NO! They don’t care about their customers. I actually argued back and forth with a rep named Christina over a $10 gift box that I earned rightly through the rewards program. She told me I screwed up the order so I’m not getting it. Is this appropriate? I’m done with them. Let’s not even touch on the despicable $15.95 shipping fee. No company in today’s climate charges such a fee. They are greedy and vile. Goodbye Melissa…

I drove an hour to go here. It’s really unfortunate because I’ve had baked by Melissa cupcakes at JFK and they were so good. At the mall there was only 6 available flavors and the girl took one batch away because she said they were not edible. The remaining cupcakes I got did not taste fresh at all. They looked and tasted like they were sitting there for a few days. 45$ down the drain did not sit right with me.

There was a girl she had blonde hair, and on the heavier side seemed like the manager. She was extremely rude making faces like she’s annoyed when I wanted to know the simple flavors. It wasn’t my first experience my family members also said the same thing we’ve been buying from this place for years. I was kind of sad tbh.

Extremely frustrating. I placed an order online for delivery and paid for expedited shipping. Not only did the expedited delivery arrive three days late, but the package was hot, damp, damaged, and the cupcakes were somewhat melted. Nobody has gotten back to me yet from the company, despite repeated calls, and I would warn anyone from ordering from this company.

Nyasia was so lovely , she helped pick out a perfect PYF for my birthday today. She was so patient with me as it was such a hard decision because you guys have so many great flavors. Thank you Nyasia for being so kind and making my experience so nice!! I appreciate you, because of you I will be purchasing again when I come back to the mall. You are amazing! The best staff member thus far ?

I was attended by Nyasia C. on 3/25/23 at 2:15 PM. She was astonishingly rude and literally threw the bag at me. First time buying. Never ever buying again. Owner should know. Hire better staff. Especially people who are willingly to give good customer service (there are people out there). Business is definitely lost when having poor employees.

For someone with a lot of allergies, it is difficult to find desserts that accommodate + taste good. Every single flavor was unbelievable amazing

Baked by Melissa is my go to for cupcakes. I love this store because of the tiny cupcakes.

I pick this up as a treat for my child every time they do well in school.

Do not recommend, rude customer service

Couldn’t buy less than 6 cupcakes. Also couldn’t choose individual flavors for their convenience. And $1.50 for a cupcake the size of my thumbnail is asinine.
