Salads were fresh and crisp, Manhattan chowder was tasty and the seafood fra diavolo was delicious. We have always loved Calogero. We love the ambience and friendly staff. We are sad to hear that they will be transitioning to a completely different restaurant style. We are very familiar with taproom and Rockville center and it is fine for that type of experience, but it's terribly terribly loud, even when you want to go and watch a game, hopefully the acoustics will be way better when Cal euros becomes taproom

Usually I can find something wrong with the food but this time, not one single thing. Food was just outstanding. Great service and atmosphere. A variety of coffees, cordials and selection of top shelf drinks (cognac, bourbon, whiskey, etc).

The food is outstanding. With four of us, we tried many of the specials -- and each new dish was well made, well presented and delicious, including the best octopus we'd ever had and exceptionally well prepared pork saltimbocca. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. So sorry to learn this spot will be closing at year end!

We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated . The food is nothing special , from the bread to dessert mediocrity is what defines Calogero . I certainly have no desire to go back $240 x 3 people , 2 cocktails, one bottle of wine , 4 appetizers and 2 pasta , taxes and tip excluded
At Callegaro this evening . It was a pleasant experience. The server was very polite and she did a great job helping me with choosing menu options . Food was very good with the right amount of seasoning cooked to perfection . I will most definitely return. ??

This is a very important thing to keep people coming back. It was my wife's birthday (who is a great cook) and I love to grill as well.
Dinner was fantastic! We loved the octopus appetizer. For dinner I ordered the scallops with mushroom risotto and my husband ordered the porkchop with wine reduction and cherry peppers, both were delicious! Service was great! Will be back with the kids (teenagers)!

Had my wife's baby shower here. I used them for catering for years as a sales rep and will be coming back to NY for a big 40th bay dinner. We will be going here!!!

We received excellent service and attention. Meals were brought promptly. The large portions were excellent! A friend raved about the eggplant Parmesan. I had been to a christening a year before and was impressed with the quality of the food. I'm glad I had the opportunity to return and would highly recommend Calageros.
