This little gem is located on Franklin Avenue with parking in the rear, accessible off 7th Street. The food is always delicious and the staff always welcoming and courteous. The owner, Mike, posts daily specials that include a cup of soup. While my favorite is the Cream of Turkey, my colleagues always order the Split Pea with crunchy croutons. They have fantastic breakfast choices. The pancakes are fluffy, and the sausage is flavorful. Their egg dishes come with toast, potatoes...
Looking for an excellent breakfast without paying Garden City Hotel prices. This is it; quantity, quality, and friendly efficient service. Convenient parking in the rear. My wife had Eggs Benedict and I had a Ham and Cheese Omelet. Both served with hash browns and coffee with abundant refills. Couldn’t have asked for better. Go for it!
My husband and I had breakfast at The Garden City Coffee this morning. It’s a small old fashioned coffee shop with booths, tables and counter service. They have a small breakfast menu with diner type made to order breakfast items. We ordered pancakes and waffles both were good.
