This was a cute place. I had the chicken souvlaki with Greek salad. My daughter had a veggie burger. Both were juicy and not dry. The service was great and friendly. It had an old fashion ambience.
Great little cafe in the heart of Garden City Village. Across Franklin Avenue from 7th Street. Been eating here for years. Great breakfast and lunch menu (eggs, sandwiches, salads, soups). Very good lunch specials. Outdoor seating on Franklin Ave in nice weather. Very reasonable. Never overly crowded.
There is nothing better than a Greek-owned Coffee Shop especially if the owner is Mike. While consistently turning out the best Gyros and Tzatziki, Grilled Chicken Greek Salad, and Spanakopita, there is still so much more! For one, breakfast is served all day. Eggs any way you like, fluffy pancakes, omelets, french toast, and more.
