We’ve been ordering from Kaji Sushi for years! The food and service never disappoints! My family usually orders for delivery. We’ve made a great friend in our delivery person, Peter! He is always timely and oh so friendly! He always greets us at our door with the biggest smile! On occasion we dine in and the experience is just as great. I highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian, I usually order the sweet potato sushi roll and the avocado cucumber roll. It’s delicious!

I had my phone on silent so I didn’t receive calls about my food arriving earlier than expected, but the driver still waited outside my dorm for 20 minutes. He was very forgiving. The food was great, but the servings can be a bit small.

Since I moved to mineola, its been 5 years, my go-to restaurant is kaji sushi in garden city, kaji sashimi which is only tuna salmon yellowtail is my favor, always fresh,and my daughter loves fried rice, gyoza(pan fried dumpling) highly recommend.

My first time visiting and I will definitely be back. Met a close friend here for lunch who told me this is the only place he goes for Japanese because the kitchen is meticulous about dietary concerns. Some in his family can't have wheat and Kaji has never let them down. Dietary concerns aside, my sushi was excellent.

Service is utterly HORRIBLE! Walked we see a lady behind the bar eating on the floor! We ignored it because there was no one in the restaurant!
Sometime past so only my husband and I were in this restaurant. We placed our orders had our appetizers. While we ate our apps about 15 people come in. We waited an entire hour for our entrees! While other people received their entrees before us!!
We waited another half hour for to go boxes after a customer next to us got everything boxed any ready to go!
Terrible filet served and they just sautéed it in the pan after we cut it up in our plates smh! Terrible
