My wife and I came to Nomiya for a Valentine’s date. The food was good, though there’s definitely good sushi in the area for cheaper. Service was pretty lackluster. Nobody checked on us during the meal, they cleared our plates but we had to wait 15 minutes and then flag somebody down to get our bill. It’s quite a small restaurant and wasn’t full at the time.

Food was tasty, especially the winter curry and the rock n roll shrimp; a little on the pricey side for what was served. Service was a little odd/slow. We felt like we were being forgotten and then the hostess would realize and run over apologizing. Were going to order more drinks/dessert but no one ever came to check on us so eventually we had to find someone to bring us the check so we could leave.

Always a wonderful experience at Nomiya, from their attentive waiting staff to their delicious and fresh dishes, it's always a joy to come for lunch or even dinner. Definitely nice to be away from the crowds of the mall for a more quiet ambiance

My wife and I flew all the way from Texas for this restaurant, and I could not possibly be any more satisfied. Incredible atmosphere, polite and caring staff, and above all else, the most immaculate flavors. If you are anywhere in the NY area, please don’t deprive yourself of this experience.
