First time at Plancha. What a gem! I had a lemondrop to start. A perfectly balanced drink. We ordered grilled shrimp. Had a panini that was a house special with mortadella. Yum. The octopus was tender served over butter beans. Brussel sprout salad was very nice. Pan con Jamon, so good. Dessert bread pudding and lemon chess pie was a wonderful way to end the meal. The staff is very nice and talented. Check out the menu before you go, as they have so much to offer. It is a great casual place with fantastic food in Long Island.
Unfortunately had the worst service with waitress Carina, we ordered 2 cocktails and 2 apps and an entree we asked if the apps can be brought out first, all our food came out at the same time…. Waited over 10 minutes for our cocktails & No sign of Corona when we finally got to wave her over she couldn’t care less I have never had such bad service she couldn’t care less we ordered 2 glasses of wine that she left sitting at the bar No regard what so ever, she is clearly in the wrong business.

As an appetizer we ordered the wings and it was flavorful with a bit of a kick! The seafood paella was scrumptious! It was enough to feed my husband and I. We left the restaurant stuffed. The only disappointment for me was the Caipirinha prepared for me...it was too tart and slightly bitter. My server was happy to exchange my cocktail; I opted for the ginger beer which was quite refreshing!

Service was cold. Our waiter & some of the staff were not friendly. Short & curt when taking the order or serving. Barely a smile. One of the servers was friendly when he brought the dishes to our table. He would wish us to enjoy with friendly time, not like the other two, who had monotonous pretentious tone when they served food or drinks. Some of the dishes were okay. I don't think it was worth the hefty price for some of the menu. It's in Garden City, explains the pricey menu. Not going back.

Out of this world tapas. I went here the night before my wedding and returned when I was back in town for a friend's wedding. If I had a larger stomach, or multiple stomachs, I would order multiples of every menu item. Cannot wait to return! Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped here the other night with a friend and the vibe is chill. The place is small but the decor and feel are kinda perfect for what the place offers. The bar staff was friendly and attentive.The food. We got the Italian board and a few other items and everything was pretty fantastic. The quality of the Meats was fantastic and the rustic bread was addicting. The only thing we didn't love was the fried potatoes with a cumin sauce. I would skip that next time. Although I'm 100% going to come back here again.
