Celebrated our daughter's 13th birthday and it was really nice here, filet was great, came with two pieces, one was a little well other was perfect. Sides were great as well. Would go back.

Primehouse is a very solid steakhouse. It has a wide array of offerings, a good set of meal combos, and very good appetizers. They also serve sushi which I did not have this time but I want to return to sample. The price is typical for what you'd pay at a steakhouse, but the atmosphere is really really good.

I took an important business client and friend for a long, four course lunch. It was quiet and the service was excellent. Most of all, every single bite of food I ate was absolutely delicious.

This is my fourth time at your restaurant and I will not be back. While the food is still good; the wine that I had (Caymus Cab) and the Chianti that I ordered for my wife did not taste good. The wine was either stale and were keep open too long. The service was terrible. We did not understand the waiter and had to ask for water and not impressed.

After having a bad piece of prime rib during Covid, the piece I had last night was excellent, just the way it used to be before that one bad experience. Those who were with me also raved about the food and service.

We waited nearly an hour to be seated. I had reservations made two months ago for 7:30 p.m. in the evening. And was able to finally get a seat at 8:20. The staff was pleasant. But the food was average. My prime rib was very dry and the mashed potatoes were very salty. The bartender comped us all around of drinks at the very least. And they gave us a free dessert. If it wasn't for that, I would totally not recommend going here.

Maybe it was an off night but this was not a goodnight for Prime house. We had a 715 reservation and waited an hour to be seated. We ordered the porterhouse for two and it was a terrible cut of meat loaded with fat and blubbery. I can not sit there and pay$150 for something like that and the waiter agreed with me. They took it off the bill and replaced it with a filet and it was much better. The wine pours are very weak. They gave me a $25 certificate but I was not allowed to apply it because I had another two gift certificates that I got for Christmas. I also think the two hosts did an excellent job of taming the hungry crowd of customers and handling all the backed up reservations. They actually deserve kudos! I might give this place another shot. When you charge Broadway prices you must put on a Broadway show!

I had my companies Christmas party in the private room downstairs. It was just okay. I figured I would give it another shot. Place is too dark, period. Way too dark. Drinks were okay. My wife's appetizer was good, my lobster bisque was barely luke warm. Entrees were also just luke warm. Both mine and my wife's were under seasoned and neither of us ever add salt to dishes. Price was not commensurate with the quality. There are some great restaurants in Garden City, this ain't one of them. Btw, not one pasta dish in the menu. Strange....

The manager on duty this evening was so incredibly rude to my father. As he walked us to the table he says out loud for all to hear “take off your hat” my father is hard of hearing so he ask him to repeat himself and he said it even louder. I've dined here before and never have seen or heard of a dress code and if there is you address that at the host stand not in the middle of the dining room in front of other guests. My father is a Hispanic disabled American Veteran and that was the branded hat he was wearing. He always removes his hat jacket when seated in a restaurant and he told this to the manager when we were seated. He didn't even acknowledge my father at that point and proceeded to hand us the restaurant week menu. It wasn't until I asked if the regular menu was also available that he handed it to us. As we had dinner we watched other patrons come in all types of dress code including hats and sweatpants and sweat suits. I have enjoyed other meals here and we all enjoyed this one as well as the service from the servers. But the way the manager treated my father was truly disappointing and will probably keep me from ever returning here.

We ordered from the restaurant week menu. The caesar salad tasted like mayonnaise. The sushi appetizer was good. The steak was tough, raw and cold. The frites were full of grease and left a pile of oil on the plate. The place is pretty, but the acoustics were horrendous... gave me the feeling of being in a high school cafeteria. We were in and and out of the restaurant for a three course meal in under an hour. Talk about rushing you through a meal! If you are looking for an upscale steak house, this is not the place for you even though you are paying steakhouse prices. I would have enjoyed the meal more, food and ambiance wise, from a diner!

One of our favorite spots. The food is always fantastic. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, the vegetables were delicious, and the brownie dessert was phenomenal. Our waiter was extremely nice and checked in on us. It's always a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

Hostess staff and manager were great weight staff was exceptional. Food was very good except my monkfish wasamoniated. That happens when fish contains bacteria they did replace my dinner immediately but that concerns me with Food handling issues.

Since it was restaurant week it was a bit much for the staff it appeared they were a little over their head. All in all the food was great as usual. Ambiance is very nice. But when they gave us spoons for dessert when we hadn't gotten our entrees yet that was a little turn off. They were friendly and apologetic when we told them. We would definitely go back and dine their again maybe not on a special menu night.
