Revel Restaurant & Bar

Revel is a nice upscale restaurant in Garden City. The misses and I went for Valentines Day with our daughters and to our surprise they had a prefixed menu. Appetizer, brunch main course and dessert for each person… $60. Not bad at all… Unlimited mimosas, screwdrivers, and something else… either which way it wasn’t our first time here and we just wanted to celebrate love and our family so whatever. The food was amazing. So let’s get into it… Stuffed cremini mushrooms were delicious… I love mushrooms, but for first timers or people on the cusp of whether they should or shouldn’t, these will make you 😍 wonder why you were eating fungus your whole life. The butternut squash arancini, will make you wanna forget your manners and lick the plate. Crunchy panko rice balls with cheese inside is a win win and the sauce is drinkable. Next my youngest had the Crispy eggplant chips… STACK! Tasty and I’m not a person who orders eggplant, but these are great.
Main courses were enough to make you tap out: Brunch remember… so I had the Braised short rib & eggs skillet. Potatoes, soft scrambled eggs and medium short rib… I would order it every time. French toast for one daughter, chicken and waffles for the next. They loved. I tried the chicken (had to) perfectly fried… and the misses had the Seafood omelette (lobster, shrimp, crabmeat) came with tater tots which we all attacked!!! And dessert I believe two ordered Tiramisu which I’ve never been a fan of, and two ordered the Lemon Blueberry cheesecake, I’d eat ah PIE of this with a cup of milk (okay maybe with an old fashioned) but drool worthy. You’re gonna spend some money at Revel, but you’ll be extremely satisfied with your meal, ah nice stiff drink, and sweet ambiance.

Great place to be in terms of ambience, food quality and service. Billy was very enthusiastic and accommodating making sure my partner and I were taken good care of. Kudos to him for keeping things clear and making us feel welcomed.

We had a great dinner at Revel. The restaurant is decorated so beautifully. What a nice place overall everything was a 5 star.We will definitely go back. Billy was very nice taking care of us especially that I have so many allergies with food.

I planned my sister's birthday dinner here and it was such a pleasant experience. Came with a party of 12. The atmosphere was great. The service was good, our server was very attentive and she was very accommodating. The drinks were great, would recommend their tequila flight. The food was really good too, The crabmeat Halibut was yummy. I'm a foodie and I can tell they use quality produce. Overall great experience!

My wife loves spaghetti, and she absolutely loved it here. The flavors, the textures, and the appetizers we ordered were all amazing. You can truly feel that there is someone behind every dish who cares about making the food special and memorable.

Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with passion.

Alexa, who took care of us, was outstanding. Her customer service was top-level. She speaks multiple languages, made us feel comfortable, gave us great recommendations, and treated us with so much warmth. We honestly felt at home.

Because of the food, the service, and the atmosphere, this place has become one of our favorite spots in New York.

Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back. ❤️

Had a yummy brunch here a few weeks ago. We sat in a cozy corner. They were very accommodating with our 3 year old. They do offer a kids menu - you just need to ask. Our server was Melissa and she was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming and so sweet to our kiddo. She gave great recommendations... make sure to try the Gelato which is out of this world. Would come back again just for her amazing service. They also do parties in their back room.

Owner is rude

Decided to get brunch at Revel this weekend to celebrate a birthday and I had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. I ordered the steak and eggs and substituted the tater tots for truffle fries, everything came out very good! Even though the birthday girl didn't order dessert, the server still came out with a decorated plate and sang to her. Definitely will be returning!!

I would not recommend this restaurant. Between the food and the service, it was not a pleasant experience.

Melissa was our server. When I ordered the Santorini breakfast, I specifically asked for the bacon to be well done and the eggs to be fried well done. The food came out room temperature. The eggs were sunny-side up with no salt or pepper, though the bacon was well done. The avocado was brown, and the yogurt was sour.

When I mentioned the eggs, they took the plate back, but it returned about a minute later exactly the same. Melissa noticed that I only ate the bacon and nothing else. When she asked if the eggs were better and I said no, she walked away before I could finish explaining. She then proceeded to tell the bartender and other waitstaff about the issue, which was very unprofessional. After that, staff members walked by looking and whispering, making me feel like I was the unpleasant customer—despite me being very polite the entire time.

The Bellini was 10/10, as was the coffee. The steak and eggs were mediocre, they were also not seasoned with salt or pepper. Whatever the tater tots are cooked leaves a funny taste. Instead of removing the Santorini breakfast from the bill, they kept it on. I had to ask for a manager.

Melissa did apologize when I asked for the check; however, if she were truly sorry, the item would have been removed from the bill.

The atmosphere is nice, and they do a good job with the decorations.

Came to REVEL with some friends and I had the best time! I requested a quite area and the hostess accommodated with no problem. I ordered a goat salad with chicken and loved every part of it. My server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will be coming back for the food and the service!!!

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, with a great variety of American dishes, delicious pastas, tasty Greek options and amazingly flavorful specials. My short rib was outstanding and I even shared some with my friends, we all love it. The staff was attentive, friendly and made us feel right at home. This place is perfect for families, date nights, or anyone looking for great food. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back!

The food was amazing, I was really impressed I love the Decor in the restaurant. excellent Brunch Selection, I cannot complain one bit i had a party of 10 . they all enjoyed their meal. Drinks was phenomenal . Thank you for having me for my Birthday 🥂💙

We had a great dinner at Revel. Short ribs were great snd tartufo for dessert. Ambiance was great.
