My wife and I really enjoyed our dining experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House. It was our first time there as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Kudos to the entire staff.
Great cuts of steak and they were cooked as ordered. Excellent selection of bottled wine and reasonably priced. Attentive service.

Tonight was a gr8t night... from the host nicole to Stephanie our server... no complaints & let just say very accommodating.
Great steak and best of all they know how to have and enforce a dress code including NO HATS
we had a very pleasant 40th anniversary dinner. Excellent food and great service. Both our steaks were cooked perfectly as were the sides we ordered. My wife really loved the Sweet Potato Casserole.
A must eatery

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. I don’t rate this high often for restaurants, but this Ruth Chris location impressed me. For starters, when I walked in I was greeted right away and was seated right away. Then as soon as I was seated, we got water and were greeted by our server promptly. The server took our order and got a lemonade for us promptly, and even refilled it twice without me even having to ask. Our appetizer, fried calamari came out a few minutes after the first lemonade and tasted very good. The sauce it came in was rather unique, and made it better than many other restaurants that I’ve dined at prior to this location. The steak came out rather fast in my opinion. In under 40 minutes, I had my food and the sides, correctly cooked and prepared in-front of me and the tasted pretty good. My only concern with this place was that the steak had just a little bit too much salt on it, but it didn’t impact my ability enjoy it so I didn’t feel the need to complain about it. The manager even showed concern for our enjoyment, and checked on us once personally. The desserts were also pretty good, we ordered two cheesecakes and they tasted pretty good and the portions were just right. As for pricing, I thought it was pretty fair. 3 lemonades and a chocolate milk for 5$ is an amazing deal compared to many other places, and I think that compensates significantly for the price point of the food, which I thought was also typical of a steakhouse. Overall, the food was pretty good, the ambience was spot on and the place wasn’t too loud, and didn’t have ridiculous music playing, and the service, well I can say our waitress was one of the hardest workers that I’ve seen in a restaurant in quite some time so I give huge credits to her efforts. Only thing I don’t like about the location is the parking can get crazy at times due to the Roosevelt field nearby, but luckily I was able to find parking easily nearby the restaurant when I went there. I would normally penalize a place if the parking situation is crazy, but since this is one of the biggest malls in the country, I will give a free pass for that. Overall very nice restaurant, and if I’m ever in the area again I would definitely come back. Overall 30 miles I drove to get here, and I was definitely not disappointed unlike steakhouses that are even farther west than this one.
Parking: The mall parking is a nightmare, took 10 mins to find parking. Not gonna penalize though since it’s one of the biggest malls in the country.

Me and my colleague have dined at this location about 20 plus times. We’re both physicians who sometimes come straight from the hospital, last night we were both told we couldn’t be seated because one of our colleagues came with his sneakers from work. When we told them we are regulars who dine there often, they then looked us up, huffing and puffing (annoyed by actually having to do work) After this entire debacle we decided that the treatment by management was completely inappropriate, they made us feel like actual criminals, the irony is a lady came in after us with dark colored sneakers and was seated. I also find it rather odd that they have such a strict dress code however the hostesses are definitely not dressed in dress code, if the hostesses are going to point out any deficiencies in anyone’s dress code they themselves should be held to the same standard. The food is good but for the money you spend there the service is absolutely not at the level expected.

Absolutely delicious! Celebrated my wife’s birthday and she was greeted with a birthday card, the server was great and very detailed with the menu, our tomahawk steak was 10/10 and the ambiance was perfect for a night out! Highly recommend.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to dine at a variety of renowned steakhouses across the country, including Gordon Ramsay’s Steak (Harrah's Atlantic City), Michael Jordan's Steakhouse (Mohegan Sun), Peter Luger Steak House (Manhattan), and Chicago Cut Steakhouse (Chicago), among others.
That said, I find Ruth’s Chris to be rather bland. While the waitstaff was exceptional, the experience was marred by the lackluster professionalism of the hostesses—who are, after all, the first point of contact. I couldn't help but feel somewhat judged based on my attire (think Bill Gates on a Tuesday). I observed a child, around 11 or 12 years old, wearing a baseball cap and a hoodie (with the hood up), yet I was asked to remove my plain, non-branded winter hat—in the winter, no less—by the hostess. When I explained that I was cold, my concerns were dismissed.
As for the meal itself, while the service was outstanding, the food was merely average. There was nothing wrong with it, but nothing compelling enough to make me eager to return. The appetizer selection was limited, the drinks were passable, and the overall atmosphere didn’t evoke the upscale or refined vibe I had anticipated. The Tomahawk Ribeye, while impressive in size, felt more like a gimmick than a standout dish.
I did leave a generous tip for the waitstaff, as they were, without a doubt, the saving grace of the evening. However, aside from their exceptional service, I see little reason to return. If you would like an exceptional experience from start to finish, try elsewhere–maybe one of the locations that I stated previously.
On a separate note, while the other locations were more upscale and expensive, I was never asked to remove my winter hat, particularly when I am spending well over $500 for two.
