On the one hand, I don't think you'll find any values at small batch. On the other hand, the food is consistently creative, and clearly above average compared to most Long Island restaurants. The roasted salmon I had last night was a prime example. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.

My wife and I do our best to dine at Small Batch 4 times a year to experience their imaginative menu. It always is extraordinary!

Pretty nice restaurant.
Great staff and the open kitchen concept is awesome.
The standout food by and far was the Spanish octopus.. please try it, cooked to perfection, pristine point of tenderness, and the sauce with the beans, peppers and bits were excellent.
I was recommended the smash burger but it was okay, I did finish it all, it’s not terrible but.. nothing close to 7th street burger yet, the bread needs some work or they need a new bread supplier for the buns .. I don’t know. Or maybe it was the sauce. Point is the smash burger needs some work.
I felt things were high priced for a typical restaurant like this elsewhere.
Enjoy!

The waitress was nice to serve food for us. If she can tell more about the food details, I will give 5 stars. The sandwich, vegetables are too oily

I was really looking forward to dining at small batch, especially after hearing great things. From the start, everything seemed promising—the Pinot Grigio was excellent, and the tuna tartare was fresh and delicious. My husband wanted steak, and I was in the mood for chicken.

Before ordering, our waitress (whom I won’t name for privacy reasons) asked if we had any allergies. We both clearly stated pork and carefully checked the descriptions of each meal to ensure there was no pork in our selections. I decided on a chicken(braised chicken thighs) dish with olives and roasted tomatoes.

When our meals arrived, I started eating my chicken. After a few bites, I noticed small pieces of meat—ham, bacon, prosciutto, whatever it was, it was pork. When the waitress checked on us, I immediately pointed it out. Instead of addressing the issue, he simply ignored my concern and went about his day. No apology, no solution—nothing.

I do not tolerate this kind of negligence in any restaurant. Was I allergic? Yes! Which I clearly stated at the beginning. Should I have called a manager and made a scene? Maybe, but I expected the waitress to handle it properly. To make matters worse, I had already mentioned that we only eat two meals a day—this was my last one, and I take it very seriously. Yet, the waitress didn’t seem to care at all.

This experience was beyond disappointing. A restaurant that doesn’t respect dietary restrictions or food allergies is not one I can recommend. Mistakes happen, but ignoring a serious concern is unacceptable. Won’t be recommending this place at all. It was our first time and for sure, our last. Hope this help management educate staff and make sure this doesn’t happen to future guests

The food here is amazing and it's my second time here from out of town. Unfortunately the service on a Tuesday night was horrible. It like my table of 1 didn't even exist and I was actually waited on by the host rather than my waitress. Had to ask other waiters in order to place an order and was never able to order a second drink because no one ever came to my table. In the hour and a half I saw my waitress 3 times when I ordered when my dessert arrived (ordered by the host) and when she dropped of the check.

nice ambience food over priced and ok...steak was pretty good well prepared, many small and broken fries over cooked. The grilled cheese was not tasty overloaded with swiss cheese, but the soup was very good. The smash burger was very good. the waiter never came back to see how we were doing, did not show much patience. First and probably last time patronizing.

Went here for Thanksgiving. Was looking forward to enjoying a nice holiday meal, unfortunately I was disappointed. The server took about 20 minutes just to get to our table. We finally ordered our initial drinks (hot apple spice something or other) which turned out to be horrible tasting. We returned them and asked for regular drinks but were still charged something like $30 for them. There was a choice of 3 entrees, Turkey, Fish or Beef. Of course we ordered the turkey. It took over 30 minutes for our food to get to us. The appetizer wasn't good, and the dried turkey was plopped on top of a mound of dried out stuffing. No dessert was included with this what turned out to be 240.00 (with only 3 drinks) bill for basically a Swanson turkey tv dinner. I still gave the waitress a 60.00 tip, because I know it's tough, and it was Thanksgiving, but the restaurant should be embarrassed of themselves for putting out an overpriced, underwhelming product.

How hard is it to not put pickles on a burger?

Took my parents out to dinner; every course was excellent. I ordered the Rigatoni, and it was delicious. My mother and father ordered the Grilled Half-Chicken with a side of Brussel Sprouts, and the Chicken Sandwich with the Chips, respectively. They said that their dishes were very good; the chicken was tender and well-seasoned, in both of my parents’ dishes. We ordered the apple tart with the ice cream to-split/share, for dessert, then some hot tea as a nightcap. Service was a bit slow, but I suspect it may have been an off-night that particular evening. We will be returning to try other dishes.
