Our baby shower at Spuntino's in Garden City was 5 star all the way. The food was amazing and made even better by the service we received from the staff: Nicole, Gabby, Jeff and Monica...Thank you!!
Definitely recommond for your family events and of course for dinner too!

I’ve been here a few times and the food was always good. That being said, I decided to host my bridal shower here! The front room was the perfect size for 30 people and still had enough room for games and pictures. Nicole, the manager, answered all my questions and was helpful through the process. The food was absolutely delicious.
We did 3 different types of bruschetta boards (strawberry mascarpone, mortadella, and cherry tomatoes w. mozz) The mortadella was my favorite!
Everyone kept talking about how good the Prosciutto di Parma and Melon Pizza was! The salmon and steak were also very tasty. The apple crostata was also a hit during dessert.
Shout out to Gabby and Jeff, our servers, who super attentive while keeping the food and beverages flowing !

Had a fantastic lunch at Spuntino last weekend. My favorite dishes were the truffle fries and chicken milanese, and the servers were super attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I’ve has a few good meals here and I’ve had a few terrible meals. I’ll be giving myself a break and hopefully a management change before I return. Very hit or miss with quality and lately the service has been awful, running out of ingredients, unfinished cocktail presentation, the food looked beautiful but tasted like nothing except the abundant amount of oil used. Disappointing for the price and expectation

Stopped by here for dinner with my mom, probably my third visit. I’ve had the same takeaway everytime…the food is average, the service is middling, and the menu is overpriced

Of the four menu items we ordered, the only one I could say is genuinely good were the Brussel sprouts, which were perfectly crisped and caramelized

The meatballs have a nice meat blend but are barely bigger than an olive. The short rib was tasty but very soggy and overly fatty (expect more for $23).

The sausage and broccoli rabe orecchiette was over soaked in oil and flavorless, hard pass

And don’t order the beaujolais, it tasted sour

I visited with high expectation due to the 4.4 rating, but the experience was incredibly disappointing.

1. Despite only six occupied tables, there were no staff attending, and two parties had to wait for 10 minutes. Later, I realized the manager or owner was sitting at a table, having fun with the staff.

2. It took another 20 minutes just to have our order taken.

3. I ordered wine, but they brought out some strange cocktail. It took another 10 minutes to get the waiter to correct it.

4. I ordered three tapas, but only one arrived after 30 minutes. The second one, cold fries, came 30 minutes later, and the third dish never even arrived. Despite the waiter using a device to take the order, they still missed one of the tapas.

5. From the time we ordered until all the food arrived, it took 1 hour and 20 minutes.

6. I requested a replacement for the fries, and it seemed like they just microwaved them instead of frying fresh ones.

7. As for the mains, the vongole was essentially pasta drowning in water with no flavor. It was so bad that I ended up mixing it with the chicken parmesan sauce just to give it some taste. The carbonara was also dry and lacked the richness of egg yolk.

I really don't understand how this place has a 4.4 rating. I won't be returning.

Our experience at Spuntino was fabulous. We went with friends and had brunch/dinner. The food was very good. We all enjoyed the taste of our food and the temperature. The ambience was very nice. It would've been great to have a brunch drink special. I would definitely come here again.

Yummy food and reasonable prices and because of that we got to try several things. We're vegetarians and they had so many options for us. One small nuance it says on the kids menu served with choice of juice or soft drinks and we ordered our two kids juices and then when we were paying we asked the waiter and he told us not included. So we paid for them anyway and didn't bother fighting but we double checked the kids menu.

We had a poor experience at Spuntino about a year ago and decided to give this place another chance. The food was underwhelming and the highlight of our visit back then were brussel sprouts that were so burnt that they were unrecognizable and inedible. What made it memorable was one of the kitchen staff coming to our table and explaining “this is how we usually make them”.

This time we thought based on the good reviews the food must have improved. Unfortunately this was not our experience. I’ll give them 2-stars based on the bruschetta and good wine selection. Rigatoni Bolognese included some off-tasting meat, and Lobster Ravioli was more of a deconstructed ravioli with round pasta sheets and pieces of lobster drizzled into a heavy butter sauce. By far the worst dish was the short rib, which was swimming in what seemed like straight Worcestershire sauce.

The restaurant itself is clean with nice decor and service is decent. I just wish the food was of better quality. Not enough for us to give this place another chance.

The food here tastes really fresh. Got the pizza and shrimp scampi. The pasta tasted like it was freshly made in the restaurant unlike other restaurants where it tastes like it’s from the box. The pasta was more doughy but not too much in the best way. Love the tapas sharing concept! Nice place
