Everything was delicious. The flies at dusk were a bit much, but there's nothing the restaurant can do.
Amazing food great price lovely atmosphere
Nice staff and good food!
Great service and food! Hoping for happy hour to come back!
Really want to give Spuntino a much better rating because the staff is very friendly. The service however was very slow. We arrived at 8:00pm and were seated by 8:05p. Placed our drink orders right away and didn't receive it until 8:25pm. This also meant that the waitress didn't take our food order until that time because she never checked up on us throughout our dining experience unless when it was time to serve something to our table. We place our food order at around 8:25.. 20 minutes after we were seated. Our first set of dishes arrived at 9:00pm. More than 30 minutes later from when we placed our order for tapa dishes. So from the time we sat down, it took almost a whole hour before we got some food into our stomachs. Between the time we waited for our second set of food, our drinks had already finished and we had to flag her down. The first round of drinks were delish and I suspect the second round was not made by the same bartender, because although we ordered the same thing it tasted way off and not great. Dishes were good, some better than others.. but enjoyed the Rigatoni pasta dish and the burrata salad. Also had the Spuntino board, meat dish, meatballs, crispy octopus (never came), garganzola with Apple and walnut and grilled shrimp scampi bruschetta. Thank you for the friendly service, just wish we weren't leaving at almost 11:00pm while the restaurant started to dim their lights cuing closing time, for a reservation that was set for 8:00pm.
I love this place. Such good food and a great ambiance. I wish there was a location near me but whenever I am in the area we always stop in here!
Stopped in here for lunch. We were seated quickly and Gabby was out waitress. She was such a sweetheart. Service was great. The food was good but the portions were smaller than I was expecting. Me and my husband ordered quite a few appetizers and shared a dinner and but we were still a little hungry after we finished everything. Worth a shot but just know you might want to consider over ordering.
My first time there, will not be my last, relaxed environment, everything is delicious, you can order anything & eat everything, but let me give you some must try suggestions: pork ribs, street corn, truffle French fries, mixed grill. Enjoy!
I love this restaurant. Located between Astoria and my hometown on LI, it's a perfect meet up lunch or dinner spot for me and my best friend who lives out there! Overall the food is always great! My favorite things to get there are the Spuntino board with fresh charcuterie and any of their delicious pizzas! They also make a GREAT espresso martini! Today's experience was a 4 out of 5, only because our experience felt a little rushed and it took a little longer than usual for our drinks each time.
This place is nice. It's a quick bite or quick lunch spot located right in the gallery. There's a good amount of outdoor seating and there's inside seating as well. While in the area I decided to stop here for something to eat with a friend. This place is considered a tapa bar so the food plates are smaller than normal but that was fine with us. I ordered a sangria which was surprisingly in a big glass and tasted really good. My friend ordered the salmon and I got the Margherita pizza 10in and a side Caesar salad. The pizza was yummy and the salad was okay. I wished the romaine lettuce was a bit more crisp. My friend enjoyed her salmon. I would definitely return here for a quick bite while shopping in the area and to try other food options.
It's open for outdoor or indoor dining. There are some bugs if you sit by the flowers outside though. The watermelon beet salad looked interesting but it didn't deliver. The watermelon was not fresh and there were only a couple of small pieces of beet. The presentation was nice. The rigatoni bolognese was on point with tons of shaved parmesan. The only problems was that the meat was too salty. Finally, the pizza was a bit overcooked and burnt making the crust too hard. If they took it out of the oven 3-5 minutes earlier, it would have been perfect.
I've been back here time after time and I always leave happy! It's a cute restaurant situated in The Gallery. I'm always hesitant of restaurants in malls, but this does not disappoint. Their menu is based on small plates, so 4 dishes amongst 2 people is the norm. I love this cause you can try a little bit of everything. The pizzas are reminiscent of true Italian pizza, thin crust and chewy dough. They offer a smaller and larger size option; I'd recommend the small so you can try other dishes! The pastas are always cooked al dente and so flavorful, theres 4 different types of bruschetta, all are so yummy! The restaurant itself is a pretty big space as well, with both indoor and outdoor dining. The pitchers of sangria are also really good! This has landed a spot on my list of favorite restaurants, definitely will keep returning!
The food is great. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter Daniel was very knowledgeable about the menu, and was very attentive to ALL his tables. The general manager was great as well as the hostess. Awesome place. Can't wait to go back.
I've eaten here at least two dozen times. Always super hot dishes (served tapas style) that come out as they're ready so they always taste fresh and amazing. They're fully prepared for a covid reopening; tables are spaced very far apart, all staff are wearing gloves and masks and doors are open on nice days to promote fresh air circulation, or just eat outside if fresh air and sun are your preference. As with other restaurants you wear a mask until you are seated. Slightly reduced menu and specials but still delicious. FYI: menu is displayed on your phone via a QR code you scan at the table. If you're not sure what a QR code is or if you have an app capable of scanning one research a little first. Most modern smart phones have a QR scanner built into the factory camera app, and apps such as Snapchat also have one built in. Enjoy your meal and be well!
It deserve a 5 but the service was a bit lackluster. My cousin ordered a pizza first from the host but we decided to sit down to eat since we were shopping and don't want to carry for along with us. We sat down and at first I assumed they put the pizza order in but I wanted to order food too. We waited and waited and called on the waiter's attention that were were ready to order. The food didn't take too long to come and to pay too a while to get the waiter's attention too. Besides all that everything else was perfect.l will still definitely come back here. The calamari was fresh and was served with chopped olives and side of marinara sauce. The bruschetta was the stellar item. It was packed with flavors. Although it has a strong required taste from the Gorgonzola, it paired well with the semi sweet apples and honey drizzle and the crunch from the walnut on top of a perfectly toasted bread.I didn't have the mushroom pizza. I only had the crust since I'm allergic to mushrooms I was told it was good. I tried the crust which was a fresh buttery thin crispy crust. Cocktail: I had the Mediterranean Mule which was sweet and refreshing. They offer ample seating indoors and about 5-6 tables for outdoor seating.
