I just want to thank the kind sales person who offered me a free sample of the delicious chicken biriyani. She saw me hemming and hawing, and I was a little nervous. I sometimes worry about ordering from mall food court vendors that don't look heavily trafficked. But this was really really yummy!!! The sample was what convinced me. Excellent portions. I had the chicken biriyani, chicken korma (delicious and spicy) and saag paneer. And of course the free naan. This tasted just like one of my other favorite indian joints on long island (house of india in huntington icyw). Fwiw, I saved half for lunch the next day, and it didn't hurt my tummy at all. AT ALL. I hope it stays in business!

This place gets 5⭐️! I came to the mall to "not shop". The food looks & smells delicious. I had to try it. But my phone wouldn't tap & the wifi was a bit slow tonight. The entire team decided to patiently work with me to get my order done. After a brief pause, the wifi loaded!!! I'm so happy I didn't choose another spot. My food was perfect. The smiles and customer service were exactly what I needed to start my week off right. I highly recommend this place. It's inside the food court @ Roosevelt Field. I'm definitely coming back. I love great customer service and they have it here. The good food is a plus.

It's not Indian Food, it's Bangladeshi food so let's not call it Taste Of India to begin with ...Food is too hot, Jalapeno peppers in "Indian" food, give me a break. Dal , Veg Biryani & Palak Paneer all VERY Salty (Blood Pressure alert ) , prices for chai etc not listed on the menu. Tandoori chicken was good otherwise won't even give 2 stars.Staff doesn't speak much English , no smile on the face . Hope you improve.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian option but I did not try anything beside Dal ,Palak paneer both of which were salty.Dietary restrictions: Everything non-veg is HALAL food , not everyone wants HALAL food.Parking: Mall Parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It's inside a major Mall so elevators & wheelchair ramps are available.

Food vendor inside the Roosevelt Fields Food Court. Food tastes ok and the portion size is big enough to share for two people. The spice level of the stews are on the spicy side if you're not into spicy food. I had Indian food that is much milder than this.The byrani rice had a lot of star anise and cardamon seeds which is inedible and someone can choke if not careful. Indian food is cooked with lots of spices but they should be removed before serving to the guests. The price is on the high side too. Spending $22 for lunch is crazy. Vegetable samosa was just so so.The naan was cooked fresh when you ordered which is a plus. On my visit, I didn't experience rude staff like others mentioned. Staff was friendly and disclosed how much of an increase in price for what items you chose on the counter. Great place on a cold day if you want something to warm you up.

Worst customer service ever! Me and hubby went in to buy chicken Samosa. Most of the Samosa looked burnt, I picked the one, and she ranged it at $4.30.. $4.30 cent just for 1 Samosa that's insane so I told her to cxl my order, I took back my money and walked away. Mind you, while all of this was happening, she had the Samosa with her, and we didn't touch the food. I told her she could keep her Samosa, and we walked away. She started screaming on the top of her lungs. We ignored her and continued walkingWe walked to a different restaurant, and as we were standing in line, this old lady had the audacity to leave her work & walk over to Hagan Das ice cream to start a fight. She was demanding an apology, like what.. Apology for what? I told her, it's not hard for her to void the transaction. She started yelling in front of 10 other customers who were standing in line. Talk about creating drama! She started making threats, called us cheap, and continued screaming on the top of her lungs as she walked away. All this over 1 piece of Samosa.. this character less woman really showed how desperate these people can get for a sale, chasing people, yelling, calling name.. she has dragged this restaurants name along with her. I will be reporting this incident to the better business bureau.Calling me cheap while scamming people $4.30 cents for 1 burnt stale looking Samosa!

A bit disappointed with vegetable biryani’s lot of vegetables that sucks, not fresh at all, daal n rice saved the day. Will never forget the mistake of taking vegetable biryani especially in a mall, it is never going to be fresh. Biryani Rice on the counter looked perfect but when ordered is when the vegetables tasted yuk. Esp. Vegetables that are not to be in authentic vegetable biryani’s. For example board beans man thats so bad choice.
