Cute casual dining spot at Roosevelt field mall. We had the hummus , vegetable pizza , grilled cheese with a Tomato soup dip. They were all good! My favorite was the butternut squash pizza.
Table service is lacking. The other person dining with me wanted to get a drink while waiting for her meal. I had to disturb another food server who was serving other tables as our server did not return after taking the initial order. I paid by credit card however their system seemed antiquated as I had to physically use my credit card rather than using my wallet pay (Android phone).Vegetarian options: Menu is very descriptive.Dietary restrictions: The menu is very descriptive and as such a person with dietary restrictions will know exactly what they would consume. Any serious concerns request to talk with the manager. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu and the meal preparation as well as the origination of all items being offered on the menu. We were in the area and were looking forward to having a healthy meal. We found this restaurant on Yelp and were impressedby the reviews and the healthy menu and decided to give it a try. Upon entering we were shown to a table next to a large (temporary?) portable commercial air conditioning unit (there were several of these units throughout the dining area) with a huge hose connected to a hole in the ceiling right above us. We insisted on not being seated there and although there were plenty of empty tables, we were told we had to sit there. We had to refuse three times before we were shown to another table not next to that monstrosity. We ordered the Grass-fed burger with fingerling potatoes which was ok and the Vegan Double Cheeseburger with roasted (charred) vegetables. Couldn’t finish the vegetables as the tangy flavor became too overpowering after a while. There were no condiments brought to the table nor were they offered. Normally ketchup is provided when ordering burgers (there are healthy ketchups on the market that would fit in to the “theme” of the restaurant). At that point we didn’t request any. We just ate quickly and left. Not a good first experience.
