Such an amazing afternoon at Minards with friends! We came with our 7 (combined) kids - who are 3-14 years old- And seriously, every single one of the kids had a blast, as did the parents! It’s a great set up for your kids to play while the grownups hang out nearby hand can enjoy a beverage or two. Angie and Jason were WONDERFUL hosts - which is kind of wild because my assumption is that the owners would generally oversee from some sort of ivory tower, but nope! They are right there “in it” with all the customers visiting for the day. I won’t lie- I love it and they are awesome people. My 7 year old is currently directing me to give them a 10 star review and is NOT happy that 5 is the max amount allowed. The parking lot was full of lots of jersey and Pennsylvania plates and that’s awesome- but more locals need to come spend a day here because it was an awesome experience for all!
Also worth noting- I know places like this can be incredibly overwhelming for kids who may be neurodiverse and not thrilled with sensory overload. If you do come and try a day hanging out here- look for Angie (Incredibly friendly, very pretty blonde - can’t miss her!) and introduce her to your little one. Her whole background is in taking care of kiddos just like yours and she’s like a sorcerer with making them feel comfortable and not overwhelmed!

HUGE thank you to Angie, Amelia and everyone at Minard’s! We had my daughter’s 4th birthday yesterday and it was an absolute blast!! From set up, to food, and keeping the kids together for activities Amelia was amazing!! They made my girl feel so special on her day and everything was so organized and stress free. I can’t say thank you enough! I would recommend Minard’s to everyone it was a truly beautiful day.

I've been to 3-4 other orchards from Warwick to the CT/MA line. Out of those, this is THE place to go to pick apples in the Hudson Valley. Great staff, fair prices, tasty fresh donuts, good and tasty apple selection in a year that was very difficult for most orchards..

Absolutely the best place to take your children to enjoy all the fall activities. For 28 dollars your kid can do everything from petting animals to gem mining. They also get an ice cream as well. The cider donuts are awesome. My son enjoyed the apple cannon and the pedal cars the most. We will return again next year for sure.

Apple picking and other activities were good. But petting zoo, animals looked very sad. I hope they are just realize them into their natural environment or sanctuary instead of cage.
