Exceptional beers. Super friendly people. Worth the drive and adventure to get to this spot. Live music on the Saturday we stopped by. Authentic crafted brew, and a great variety.
The owners brew some mighty fine brews, bring business to the area and maintain the integrity of the original buildings, preserving history and strengthen memories. Yum and thank you.
Butternuts is a little further away from the other Cooperstown area breweries but it's absolutely worth the visit. The brewery has a much smaller, more grassroots vibe then the others as well, but the beer is excellent (and there's much more to try than the iconic Porkslap you've no doubt had if you're from out of town like me). I should note the tasting room is closed during the winter months, but we showed up not knowing that and we were welcomed in anyway...
