The waitress was really nice and brought us to a nice table with some really fancy lighting! The food took a bit but was totally worth it! We especially loved the cabbage rolls!

Schnitzel was delicious! Authentic cooking and lovely women running the restaurant. Definitely worthy of a special visit. Pierogies had thicker dough than I prefer but soup was lovely. Will definitely return!

Both of us had the 12 piece pierogies dish and each and every one was absolutely mouth watering. This is an incredible hidden gem in Geneseo.

Our family had a delicious lunch today. All the homemade soups were especially good. All desserts are homemade as well but the raspberry meringue cake was a stand-out!! The waitress is Polish herself and gave us cultural insight into each dish that made our choices easy. The owner was even kind enough to loan me money for the public parking. We will definitely return!

Limited menu but excellent and authentic Polish-German food and beer. The mushroom barley soup is very much like that which we had in Poland.

The food was wonderful! My first time trying borscht and was really impressed with just how flavorful it was. It definitely was one of those soups that nourishes you body and soul. I also tried my husband's zurek and it was equally delicious. Had the mielone entree and it was also delightful! Lots of flavor and you can tell it was made with care. Highly recommend trying this lovely restaurant.

Very expensive food. It's worth it for a once in a while trip, but you could easily go broke eating here regularly. Rye soup was delicious, as was the house salad. Periogies were on the bland side for a specialty item. Server's were very charming, especially the polish exchange student. I was told the pineapple cake and the chocolate raspberry cake were delicious. My poppy seed cake was not worth the 10$ I paid for a small slice. I highly recommend the homemade kielbasa that is sold at the counter. Also recommend reservations as it is a small establishment, tables fill up quick.

One of the worst places we have eaten lately. First off , I ordered the mushroom soup, and my husband had a salad. Two minutes after his salad arrived, his dinner was served. We had to set it aside until he finished his salad. By the time he got to his meal, it was cold. Meanwhile my dinner had not been served while he starts his dinner. I waited about 10 minutes before my meal came after he started his cold meal. Food was very mediocre . Stuffed cabbage being cold, had no taste and seemed overcooked. Pierogis were strange. I've been brought up in a Polish household, I know good polish food. This was just not good. We both left half of our food on the plate. After we finished what we could he asked for the check but because their machine was broken, he went up to the desk for our bill. To his surprise, We Actually got charged for mustard and extra salad dressing $4.49 + tax . When, in your entire lifetime have you ever been charged for condiments. Enough said! Never again, and we pass through the area frequently! Save your appetite for somewhere else that won't disappoint!

Our best meal in Genesseo. If you visit Genesseo or are in the Letchworth park area, do yourself a favor and dine here. Their food is fresh, wholesome, and delicious! I had the potato perogies (so soft… they melt in your mouth), Ukrainian borscht soup (I had this for the first time and it tasted absolutely divine ?). My husband had the Weiner schnitzel entree!! It was great as well. To end our meal, we had the poppy seed cake… it was flourless and so tasty… WOW! We loved the cake so much we wanted to try another cake slice… we took the pineapple cake home… YUMM!It just wasn’t the food that did it for us… it was the warmth of the people and the place too. One of the owners was there and it was really nice to speak with her. ?Our server was very nice too. Love the way they have decorated the place inside. Will definitely come again the next time we are in the area!

I had soup, an entree, and dessert - all for $41, plus tax & tipCup of flavorable barley/mushroom, with a glob of sour creamEntree: 2 large really crispy potato pancakes with mushroom/sour cream sauce, and a fresh, colorful side salad of romaine, tomatoes, onions, radishes with homemade tasty vinaigrette with secret ingredients! (not at all vinegary)Dessert: 4 sweetened, light & tender dough farmer's cheese perogies with a some blueberries and raspberries and optional sour cream w/cinnamon.Sour cream lovers' dream: These two Polish women who own and operate the restaurant make everything from scratch! The pleasant ambience is created with clean white tablecloths, adequate space between tables ensuring privacy, and delicious food is served by pleasant, knowledgeable servers.
