The 'LIC' in Big aLICe's name is because the original brewery was in Long Island City, but has since moved here. Told the bartender that reminded me of Albuquerque's Ex Novo Brewery, which spent half its' life in Portland, Oregon, before closing shop and moving operations to New Mexico. Maybe these two heavy-hitting movers & shakers will someday do a collab. Who knows. Meanwhile, it is extremely important to note that their Copper Rye lager is so fantastic....
Had a great first visit. Beer selection has many styles for many tastes. Beer server was very knowledgeable of the types of beers and provided recommendations. Nice layout inside and good outdoor seating options.
A great tasting room with enough beers to build a flight. All the beers I tried tasted great. I'm looking forward to coming back in the warmer months because the outdoor seating looks good.
