The drinks were an excellent start. Beet/apple/ricotta salad was sweet, but very good. By far the star of the show was the Wagu truffle burger was incredible. Perfectly MR, with a toasted bun. No lettuce, onion, or tomato (no frills) cleared the deck for an undressed, stand alone on its own merits-delicious char broiled burger. Might be back within a week just for that burger. Great service- friendly and gracious owners
This was our first time since the transition from Altiro to Enigma. LOVED IT! The food and atmosphere is lovely. The food is so original and delicious. Only negative was that we were the only ones there. I hope everyone gives this place a try it's worth your time and money!
I loved Enigma. I started with the Tetela, a corn masa pocket that looked so beautiful on the plate. The masa pocket had a pleasing toothsomeness that helped it stay distinct from the other elements, which also were distinct, gorgeous and delicious. I had the saffron fumet as my main. It included a perfectly cooked salmon filet with a crackling crisp skin. The vegetables were fresh and delicious; some of them were lightly pickled and added a nice piquancy to the dish.
