My family has been loyal customers of Chinese cookery for at least 30yrs. They knew my mom by voice alone and ask how the kids were. We heard they were selling and we're disappointed, but still glad there was a Chinese restaurant so close. Then we tried it under new ownership and it's back to being really disappointed again. The taste and quality is just not there, and it's not even subtle. My go-to orders were crab egg foo young or shrimp and lobster sauce, with occasional fried dumplings. Dumplings were mediocre. I've had better at buffets. The egg foo young was like the absence of flavor, watery and oily. And instead of a rich flavorful gravy like it used to have, it's a thick (what I assume) soy sauce based syrup. The shrimp and lobster sauce had artificial crab chunks and I hate to say it with risk of being rude, but it was inedible. I tried. I added spices, even the sauce from the egg foo young, wonton broth, something to change the taste, but I had to throw it out. The wonton soup was ok. If I had a craving and didn't feel like going far I'd order that. But I'll have to find a new Chinese place.

disappointed. i started coming here as it is right by UB and have been coming here for 3 years. i noticed when i ordered today the taste, flavor, and just overall appearance of the food just was totally different. crab ragoons taste so different and i got the shrimp lo mein and it also was super different from previous times. i used to love getting food here because it was cheap and near my dorm, but i think i’d rather go somewhere else. overall it just is very bland and tbh spend your money somewhere else.

Oh, my God, I've seen children doing things in it several times. They're doing things while playing with their mobile phones. They look very unhappy. This is not allowed. I want to sue you children for working in it.
Used to get delivery from here in the past, but when I went in to pick up an order I was surprised how dirty and rundown it was. Fast forward to this month - I had heard it was sold and was very pleasantly surprised how clean and bright it is now. The nicest surprise was that they had my order waiting in an insulated bag to keep it warm - very thoughtful! Didn't order much, but it was very fresh and tasty, and I will definitely be back.

Ordered Lo Mein .. Dumplings and Orange Chicken (we asked for the chicken to be mild). The fried dumplings had some awful cabbage sprout filling not what was described on the menu ! Orange chicken was not mild it was very spicy! They gave us a tiny little container of white rice for all this food. In the past we would be given a big container of rice. No fortune cookies anymore like in the past and a $1 convenience fee !!! Will not be returning to the place ever again !!!

I haven't been to a Chinese restaurant for almost two months. Come in and see if they have changed their new owner. Wow! I feel like it looks much cleaner than before. Before, the hygiene was very dirty everywhere on the floor. Today, I ordered eggroll.sweetsorchicken, which was great. It's worth recommending and I will come back often in the future. Must like 5 stars. came to this favorite Chinese restaurant again tonight on 10/14. I ordered General Tso's Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice. The taste is really great. I rate it 5 hearts again. The cashier at the front desk is also very friendly. It is worth recommending to every new and old customer.

I have been a fan of this Chinese restaurant for 3 years. Come in and check why the front desk is different. I heard from the cashier that the owner has changed The cashier is very enthusiastic and has a smile now. I prefer the current lady. The food is different from before, but the taste is great. I will come back again.
