This easily became our go-to favorite breakfast/brunch place during our Hudson Valley trip. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Highly recommend the breakfast porridge. The service was consistently good even on a Saturday morning when it was standing room only.

Super delicious food, the chicken and biscuit was smothered in sausage gravy and was delightful. Very flavorful!

Incredibly friendly staff. My husband is a hot fried chicken sandwich junkie and he said BH's was the best he's ever had. Didn't think I would ever write a review about a salad but just wow! The seasonal (greens, walnuts, apples, cheddar, etc.) with a lemon vin was so amazingly tasty, fresh, clean and filling. It was so big it took of us to finish. I have biscuits for tomorrow morning and they look delicious. Seating might be an issue at prime times - we were incredibly lucky to have a picture perfect late fall day with abundant sunshine so we grabbed a picnic table (they bring the food out to you). The line was a bit long but it moved quickly. You can definitely tell who's local and who's got an attitude and thinks locals are rubes. Just ignore them, shoo away their negativity and enjoy a beautiful day with kind people and delicious food.

The food has never disappointed (they poach a perfect egg for their eggs Benedict, and I’m particular about that). Their baked goods are amazing. There can be a wait for coffee drinks as there is only room for one barista, but they do a good job. Sometimes the clientele skews rude weekend folks, but overall, it’s a nice place to go.

Best cherry scones I’ve ever had. Love their salads and delish coffee. There’s often a line, but the staff is giving everyone the time they need without rushing them. So, feels caring! Love this place.

Traveled 45 minutes. Arrived no one to greet you, very unorganized. Asking other patrons how this works. Order food and find a table? what table? outside at 50 degrees? No parking either. . They should consider table service or a hostess to direct all the lines. Too much stress for me to eat out. Probably would not return, but looks like a quaint place. Too bad.

Oh my my… these baked goods are really among the best. I debate driving the hour and 15 minutes from my house just to come for a pistachio croissant.

I always get the classic breakfast sandwich with bacon and avocado. It's always amazing. Plus there cookies, donuts, and other baked sweets are top notch.

Beautifully restored historic building with a fantastic cafe inside. Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods were delicious and service was friendly. The double chocolate cookie and cortado were highlights for me.

Excellent pastries. Very good egg sandwich. Fine cold brew. 15 minute wait in line to order at 10am on Labor Day, then 5-10 more minutes for egg sandwiches to come out. Tight quarters inside while waiting. Next time I'll order ahead online.

Dear Bartlett House, take the breakfast quesadilla off your menu or make a sincere effort to redeem this horrible, morning-ruining plate of awful food. I can’t speak for other menu items but this one is truly awful. It says there’s pinto beans in it but all I saw was a slimy film of grey residue. You could choke on the rubbery excess of cold melted cheese and barely-salted eggs. It’s so bad you guys. Add seasoning. Cumin. Coriander. Anything to actually be worthy of “Mexican”. Actually crisp up the tortilla. Add a real portion of seasoned beans. Salt the eggs! Do something. Anything. But do not ruin your good reputation with this disgusting menu item. It’s truly upsetting.
