“The atmosphere is really cute with rustic cars and decor. Our server was really friendly and made good suggestions for food.I got the mushroom soup, bibb lettuce salad, and potatoes gratin. I loved the soup and salad. I liked the potatoes for a few bites, but they could have been spiced more. My friends ordered the steak and the couscous and loved both. We got a few desserts (creme brulee, molten chocolate cake, and the special apple crumble crepe), and all of them were delicious.”

“Went in for the first time ordered a build your own burger w frys to go and it was delicious bun was toasted cheese was melted bacon was crispy and was cooked just how I asked the bbq sauce I asked for with it was perfect too I wouldve took a picture but I was hungry I noticed they have a buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner would go back to try that out”

“What's not to love. Unless you are diabetic then it's amazing. Every single thing I've ever eaten here is beyond delicious. The summer bbq is also phenomenal.”

“This DQ is a legit time machine back to the 80's, so I do love going here. The atmosphere is great the food is solid the employees are all local kids who obviously want to work there and in general the service is decent. The only reason I can't give it a full 5 star rating is that it does seem like every time I'm there something gets messed up. Now, generally I'm there with a large group of kids who have just finished a game. But every time I'm there with a large group, something gets messed up and of course the coach (me) has to fix it. Last time someone ordered a 6 piece chicken strip basket and got 4 and it took 20 minutes to fix. Other than that it's a great time travel experience.”

“Super stylish and elegant SoHo-worthy dining room in tiny Kinderhook, NY. Sort of Asian fusion cooking, very fresh vegetables and imaginative small plates to share. Cauliflower was a favorite, Jasmine rice too. Can get noisy as the night wears on!”

“We got married at Vanderbilt Lakeside in August 2023 and had a wonderful experience working with Henrietta and Matt after stumbling upon the venue on Airbnb. It was meant to be because we later figured out that we had frequented Henrietta’s bar, Night of Joy, in Brooklyn when we first started dating and her amazing aesthetic really comes through. We had our closest friends stay with us at the house for the weekend and hosted 100 guests.The look and feel of the space is uniquely chic and quirky all at once with beautiful modern and vintage accents. It's quite whimsical which makes for awesome wedding photos - we didn’t need any additional decor, except for flowers. The backyard/deck space and lakeside views were exquisite in late summer sunshine. The day of our wedding the rain held out for us and we were able to have our ceremony on the lawn, facing the lake and had dinner under a tent on the deck with additional seating in the adjacent room with the sliding doors fully open, and dancing in the bar room under the disco ball. The lawn games and pool table added to the summery and fun atmosphere.Henrietta was very clear in her communication, very responsive, patient throughout our planning process from beginning to end, and offered recommendations for other vendors and services, which were really helpful to us. Henrietta and Matt were also super helpful and flexible in assisting us with our food and beverage selections, answering our many many questions, and providing staff (who were all friendly and professional) when needed. All of the food was truly excellent and everything was served on time. The grilled cheese sandwiches and handcut fries we had as afterparty snacks were a massive hit. Henrietta was also around and available to assist throughout our wedding weekend, which we really appreciated and she communicated well with all of our vendors.We’re so grateful that we found Vanderbilt Lakeside and will forever cherish the memories of our wedding there. We highly recommend it!”

“We've been to Canteen twice (so far) and both dinners were fantastic! The selection of cocktails is creative and explores the wonders of mixology beyond the standard cocktail options. The wine list thoughtfully curated. I was particularly happy to find a rather unusual Müller-Thurgau from Italy's Alto-Adige region as a by-the-glass option. What about the food? Well, that is absolutely remarkable, too: the creativity at Canteen continues seamlessly from glass to plate. That applied to the Burger, the Bouillabaisse, the pork chop, the duck breast, the salmon and the apple galette. Every single dish we had was simply great! I found the service to be particularly friendly and attentive. I am surprised by some of the comments in other reviews. My wife, my son and I found the overall atmosphere at Canteen on both nights very pleasant to say the least and left both times in a cheerful mood. What else can we ask for?”

“Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Got a beer flight, house made hummus and the smokey grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had ham and mustard and was perfectly paired with smoked scamorza cheese on sourdough.”

Their farm-fresh offerings are locally sourced & community-driven (you can literally SEE the farm from your table!). “I was looking for a coffee-ish shop with good food and stumbled upon Quinnie’s. It’s a little bit outside of Hudson but worth it to ditch the overwhelming crowds on Warren Street. The food was delicious, counter service is always a plus and they have delicious coffee. “Food always consists of plentiful portions served relatively fast. Great for families with kids. Service is pleasant...and there are great views of the Kinderhook creek from the back section. Can be a little noisy at prime meal times when it's crowded- hard on hearing aids...or those with hearing issues. (Off times are much quieter)”

“Great Jamaican Food!!! This hidden gem in Hudson/Greenport is the place to go for authentic Jamaican dishes. The owners, Randy and Anne are delightful and really care about the quality of the food they serve. I've had every dish on their menu and each one has been delicious. Portions are generous with both lunch and dinner sizes at reasonable prices. My personal favorites are their traditional Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Curry Chicken and Oxtails. All served with rice and peas, plantains and veggies. In colder weather they offer a hearty soup with traditional Jamaican Spinner dumplings. Whenever they have a "special" dish I always give it a try and have not been disappointed. Just yesterday they offered a special Barbeque Chicken which was sweet and savory. I certainty hope this becomes a dish they offer regularly.They are open on Wednesdays and Fridays and are my go to place for take out Wednesday dinner. They serve out of a stationary food truck with plenty of onsite parking. Food is packed for take out and there are picnic tables with umbrellas if you'd like to eat there. They are located up on the hill overlooking Fairview Ave just a bit south of Bagel Thyme. Stop by, check it out. You will not be disappointed.Parking: Lots of easy parking.”

“Came here to meet a friend on a Sunday afternoon and although it was very busy we were promptly seated. We were excited to discover several dark beers on the menu including my new favorite vanilla porter (can't wait to get another growler of that!). It was our first time bringing our son and I was thrilled that there were 2 vegetarian kids meal options! He LOVED the mac and cheese. I had the fish fry which was crispy and light (not greasy). Prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious and there were a few other menu items I'm looking forward to trying on our next visit!”

“We went for a late Valentine’s dinner. We had the passed the place a few times saying we have to try it someday so we did. I suggest making a reservation because they fill up quickly at dinner time. The food was great and fresh with no disappointments. It’s not a shirt and tie place but slightly dated and comfortable. The pitcher option for margaritas is a great option. The staff was busy but helpful and attentive. Will go again and again.”

“I was searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was great, in large portions, and the pizza is something that I have not stopped thinking about. The waitress was incredibly friendly too and it added to the loving ambiance that comes the feeling of a family owned restaurant. It’s nice to see that a family business has been open for as long as it has! The salad’s were fresh, and thankfully they sell the dressing by the bottle because I kept wanting more. The decor could use some updating. The Grecian painting on the walls looks like it’s been there since the 80’s.”

“Parking is tough especially on 2 for Tuesday. 2 pizza's for the price of one only on Tuesdays. Best pizza in Chatham. I buy extra just to eat a day or so for lunch at work. Food great, service is fast and prices are fair. Ambiance needs a fresh update. Other wise friendly employees.”

“One of my favorite places to go out. Excellent food, menu & service. Updating March 2024; I miss the guitar player, Steve. The food, menu & service all still excellent, although this Saturday night when we were seated the dining room was full, everyone was finishing their meals and it was noisy. But within 15 20 minutes 2 tables left & it instantly quieted down and the cozy ambiance was back. Have to admit, sometimes we've been that noisy group! It's all good!”

“My pictures don’t do the justice they should. This was a fantastic meal. Local 111 has a small menu and everything is a winner. My wife and I shared the chicories salad and the croquetas. Then I had the fish of the day, which was trout, and she had the chicken which our waiter, Mariusz, said was his favorite. We are definitely coming back here!”

“Great spot for a quick bite or ice cream. I had the cheeseburger and fries and both were exceptional. The burger was juicy and perfectly done. The fries were awesome. Of course, the star of the show is the ice cream... which is very good. There are many flavors, and you can get them in waffle cones, sundaes, or milkshakes. My son had the banana split and he loved it. I had the Queen of Hearts ice cream, which is dark chocolate and raspberry swirl, and it was great. There is seating on stools around the perimeter of the interior and benches outside for the warmer months. Definitely stop in of you're in the area!”

“Great little family owned fast food restaurant in Hudson. Very fast and friendly service and excellent food. So far I tried their fish fry and grilled chicken sandwhich. Both very good!!! They serve hand cut french fries too. I love this little place.”
