“Clever and creative mixture of Japanese and American. Lots of flavor. The chicken wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. One of the owners came around and checked on every table to make sure everyone was happy. I do have an issue with restaurants that include the gratuity and on top of that imply that’s it’s appreciated to tip more. Didn’t love our server basically explaining how all the added taxes paid for the food, kitchen staff and servers while also mentioning additional gratuity is welcome. It’s a tad expensive. The restaurant is located in an old textile factory so the acoustics are terrible, it’s very loud but I still really enjoyed the meal & I recommend checking this lively restaurant.”

“My husband and I (and pup Hamish) stopped in from our travels and we honestly had one of the best coffees and Matcha’s we have ever had! They had Little Wolf coffee for the espresso (and that’s when we knew it would be good!) AND it’s such a sweet wee shop with curated local goodies! Justin was the best and a good chat! :) we will definitely be coming back if we ever come back to the area! :)”

“We were out and about in Hudson today and we were a little hungry so we stopped into kitties and I had probably one of the best egg sandwiches I ever had. I highly recommend the egg sandwich with sauerkraut. The vibe in there was very comfortable iced coffee Was nice and strong. They had a great bakery selection and a lot of local products. So if you’re coming out of the train station in Hudson, I say swing by kitties you won’t be sorry.”

“My kids and I visited here for lunch. It was such a cozy spot filled with the aroma of delicious food. We were instantly greeted with smiling faces as soon as we walked in. My kids had grilled cheese, I had the chicken salad sandwich. So good! Looking forward to visiting again during warmer weather, so we can enjoy the outdoor seating too!”

“We had a most extraordinary Sunday brunch at The Maker Cafe yesterday. We were there by chance, around 1 pm, and are so glad we found this lovely spot with a most attentive staff. We're not spring chickens, and we much appreciated the help getting seated, the delicious butternut squash soup, the fabulous eggplant alla parmgiana sandwich, the broccoli salad. Thanks to you all - we loved it, and we look forward to coming to the restaurant some evening soon.”

“We had a hard time finding the place at first. but we're glad we did. :) Good beer, good vibe and the food was delicious. We had a smashburger and fries, the deviled eggs, and the hand cut chicken bites which I loved and were served with the tastiest ranch sauce I've ever had. “For the sake of full disclosure I’ve worked with the owners for over twenty years in the television industry. They have brought the same dedication and amazing attention to detail that has resulted in their tremendously successful careers, to their wonderful new restaurant. They have thought of EVERY detail from the whimsical videos playing in the rest rooms to the sugar cubes for your espresso... they have missed nothing. The menu is inventive and perfectly executed... Watermelon Gazpacho?! Whoa! The unique presentation of the Calamari appetizer was wonderful. Bouillabaisse?! You don’t find that as the seafood option very often... what a treat. Others in my group enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks and the slightly smoky Mac & Cheese. Of course the cheese plates are spectacular. This is one of those meals you won’t forget! But wait did I mention the speakeasy downstairs? The perfectly appointed room features an amazing menu of craft cocktails AND six draft beers to choose from... including Ommegang Rare Vos... you simply don’t find that on tap anywhere!! Finally a word about the service. It was impeccable, perfectly attentive without being stuffy. Chris and Ellen have created a destination restaurant!”

This place is so cute on the outside, and fast, affordable, and delicious on the inside! The portions were huge, the food was fresh, and the prices were competitive with chains like Chipotle or Panera. 5/5!”

“I love the service. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I’m a sucker for their omelettes. I love a good window seat and to write while I’m there. It’s always clean and everyone is friendly and I love watching all the families and regulars come in with their kids or grand parents. The coffee is good. The parking is endless and they have a ramp for anyone needing the use of it. Desserts galore in tall fridge as soon as you walk in — you can always grab that to go after you finish your meal. Large portions. Excellent prices. I love the place!!”
