A great stop after walking a section of the Empire State Rail Trail. Such a welcoming “inn” feel. The staff was super friendly. And there was a very large selection of beers from all over. This was our first visit and we can’t wait to go back. Parking isn’t an issue. There’s a lot right up the street if you can’t find street parking in the quaint town of Kinderhook.
Our second visit this past weekend. We live about 40 minutes away, so it's a nice outing when we're itching to go somewhere out of town. Kinderhook is lovely. We just love this place. First time we had a charcuterie board. This time we shared two of the grilled cheese sandwiches and a mug of tomato soup. It's a cozy, friendly place. We sat at the bar this time. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Got a beer flight, house made hummus and the smokey grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had ham and mustard and was perfectly paired with smoked scamorza cheese on sourdough.
