We stopped in at Hudson Chatham Winery on our way to the catskills last week. It's a very quaint place that's absolutely beautiful. Our hostess, Emily was very personable and knowledgeable. One of the owners, Steve came in the tasting room to chat and gave us some really good advice on places to visit. I wish we lived closer, I'd visit here often. Oh, and the wine was delicious. Very friendly and attentive bartender named Emily. I came when it was pretty quiet (middle of the day) and she gave the perfect balance of conversation while allowing space to relax/explore. I left with a bottle of blanc de blancs because it was so easy to drink! Would definitely come back.

Visited the tasting room after we hiked around the sculpture exhibit at Art Omi. It was a perfect spot to relax in after a busy morning. The woman who poured for us was very friendly and attentive. My daughter only drinks white wine and my husband was the DD but they were very accommodating to our needs and adjusted the tasting menu for us. The food was also excellent - I wish they had a full lunch menu because I’d happily eat a full meal there - the quality of ingredients was great. We sat inside which was very comfortable but the outdoor seating looked wonderful. We needed to cool off after hiking around outside in the sun. Highly recommend a visit here - just a short ride outside of Hudson where we were staying. The rose was our favorite of what we sampled so we took a bottle home.

My boyfriend & I visited for the first time on a Sunday as we were traveling through. The woman who greeted us was very polite and let me taste a few wines before I decided on a glass. The wine was great and the outdoor area is very nice. But we didn't feel very welcome. There was a man who worked there who seemed to be attending to other couples and totally ignored us. I didn't even expect any special attention at first but after seeing him go to most of the other tables it got us wondering. I thought, ok, maybe they were part of a wine club and he's there for that purpose, to attend to them. My boyfriend went in to get me a second glass of wine and the man asked him if he wanted it to go. Who does that? Why would he want it to go? It felt more like he wanted us to go. The vibe was not great for us, unfortunately.

Best wine I have ever had… and that is underselling this place. The experience was overwhelmingly amazing. Went there for a quick wine and ended up staying there for 6-hours. Steven and Justin (the owners) were fabulous. The scenic view was like something out of a Brontë sisters novel. I recommend this 110% of the time. Will go back weekly!!!!
The best winery I’ve ever been to in the county. The wine selection is fantastic and all natural. The ambience is on point and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. I’m here weekly because it’s such a great spot! 100000% obsessed ??

Steven was a great guide and even gave us some awesome recommendations for exploring the area. Could not recommend enough!
