Went for mother's day breakfast. Food was disgusting, eggs looked like soup, all the meats where dried out. Service was okay. The owner of the restaurant was rude. We had my eldery grampa and she gave an attitude when we said he was in a wheel chair. Claiming nobody told her that, and sighed. This place has been open for years. I dont think it should for much longer. Also $200 for only 10 people. For disgusting breakfast. The only thing that was good was the coffee and fruit that wasn't rotten.

It might not be fancy but the food is generally very good and it's inexpensive. They make a great turkey club and I love their home made stuffing. Their prime rib on weekends is great and quite a bargain. The country chicken dinner was excellent and huge. Don't miss out on the onion rings! They do a great job packing up take out dinners which is really important.

they can improve on everything. if you're going to advertise and all you can eat buffet then let people eat. I got attitude both times I went. waited a half hour for prime rib to even come out. supposed to be 4-8. it was a half hour late. took a half hour after finally getting to place my drink order but didn't receive until almost done with meals. people were rude. customer is not always right here. we will never go back.

We went here on this evening at 4:00 (Saturday night July 20,2024) for the Prime Rib Buffet..Everything including the Prime Rib was so cold..I told the Man who cut the beef for us about it and the response was""What do you mean it's cold I see steam coming from the warmers""The Prime Rib which was very tough and no taste was just sitting on a cutting board..I also told our waitress about it when she asked how Everything was and her reply was ""Well do you want me to put your food in the microwave to heat it up?""I didn't pay the $24.99 per person just to have it heated up..Also was not good at all..We will never go back..Not worth the price
A peaceful, nostalgic setting with very good food served in ample portions with a side of smiles from friendly staff. We went for breakfast and were very impressed! I had the meat lovers omelette and my partner has a Swiss omelette with a side of corned beef hash. Simply scrumptious! I usually avoid omelettes at smaller restaurants because they are often overcooked and dry with little to no flavor. That was not the case at the White Stone Cafe! Their huge omelettes were savory and perfectly cooked. The decor is straight out of the 1960's, but charming. Maybe it's due to being in such a rustic small town. The decor would look passe anywhere else. But, here it works and works well. Suitable for a couple, families, or groups. It's much larger on the inside than it seems at first glance.

1st time in this establishment on a quiet street no customers very little employees French toast was good my friend got the buffet he said that the waitress seems to have an attitude wasn't friendly enough or it was the heat. In any case plenty of seats and a party room in the back for larger groups. If anyone is in Ghent check it out kids are invited.
