A hidden gem in an historic village, you can’t go wrong at The Empire! The food is top notch, in particular any curry, Persian, or Mediterranean dish. The biryani is superb. Then again, the fish tacos are also fantastic! Mediterranean Breeze is a favorite appetizer, and we’ve never had anything like it anywhere else. Q and Aileen sling the beat cocktails in the Butternut Valley. You’ll be sorry if you don’t stop here.Vegetarian options: Many, many options for everyone!!

What a fantastic place to eat! We enjoyed the Butternut Valley Alliance's "On the Trail of Art" nearby and chose The Empire House to have lunch with our kids and granddaughter. Authentic Mediterranean and Middle East cuisine is no joke - excellent food at decent prices - and the whole family enjoyed their selections!

Very good cuisine, and experience. Owner extremely passionate about the restaurant and quality of service.

Nice atmosphere. Hits and misses with the food, more hits than misses. One of the better restaurants in the area. Pass on dessert though, dough severely undercooked/raw and bananas foster was thrown together like a stew of sugar.
We stopped in for a drink and to enjoy the music. What a wonderful place.

The gyros & beef shawarma were so delicious that the apple pie & bread pudding had to be to go! Absolutely the best onion rings!

Overpriced, undercooked. Be prepared to spend roughly $50-$75 per person for mediocre food. We were very excited to try this restaurant as all the locals rave about it! It did not live up to any of the hype and we were disappointed in the portions and quality for the price. Unfortunately we will not be back. We went expecting fine dining with a high budget in mind- but the food did not fit the bill. The staff were nice but we left still hungry.
