The food was excellent, the ambiance very pleasant, and the staff super friendly and helpful. I thought the prices were a bit high, but it is an expensive area, and some of the local competitors charge higher prices for lesser quality, so by local standards, it's a bargain. If you're in the area, I'd recommend it.
We were there for lunch. The restaurant was NOT crowded, whatsoever. It took the waitress 20 minutes to bring our drinks over. The food was okay, but we won't be back there anytime soon.
I am sorry to say I was disappointed. First , I found the upstairs dirty, felt like I was in an attic where a few tables were quickly thrown together. There was no difference between the tiki bar and upstairs menu, food was cold when we got it, bathrooms filthy. This was probably a “shame on me” situation where I thought the caliber of food and overall experience would have been better. Hardly any desserts and no coffee? Can you believe that? I remember going here many years ago and the menu was so much better. Waitress was nice and band was good. For a better ambience. Just stay downstairs at Tiki Joes.

The food was not good. It was like eating food from a catered event. Overpriced for low quality. The service was just as bad. Many young kids walking around aimlessly. We had to constantly ask for water. We saw our waiter twice, when he took our order and the next was when we got the check. Not a great experience. Won't be back anytime soon.
The view and the service were amazing. Our waiter David was very excellent. He was attentive and gave us wonderful guidance with the menu. The food was delicious. This place is on my list to come back.
Another delightful lunch at the Captain's - Started with a Heineken Zero (designated driver) and SO enjoyed the Cape Dream Sauvignon blanc (from South Africa) one of the day's featured drinks. Good value and a generous pour IMO. Started with clam chowder - nicely seasoned with plenty of clams) and SO had baked clams which she said were top notch. Then on to fried clam sandwich - excellent - not at all greasy - and partner had the fried shrimp (delicious - I nibbled a little). Finished off with the carrot cake which was wonderful - moist and we liked the mango syrup drizzle. Good touch. Service was friendly and attentive - thank you, Gail. Facility was immaculate, as usual. View of boats moving about in marina was great. Only downside was a large birthday party at next table which was noisy, although not rowdy. Usually the Captain's is a quiet spot for lunch.
The service was exceptional. Our waitress was excellent . Food overall was good however flounder was mushy. Only real complaint was valet parking which I don't mind but upon leaving they were so backed up we waited and could not get our car we ended up walking to it and driving our selves out.
Absolutely loved it! My son and I took dad there for Father's Day. Food was excellent. Service was accommodating and friendly. If you're watching pennies, the menu is pricey. A heads-up about sitting outside. Although right on the water and a beautiful view, opt to sit inside on a cooler, breezy night. They do have heaters, which helped a bit. We started out with a table right on the edge of the deck and away from the heaters. We asked to change our table to one closer to a heater. The staff were very nice about it and able to accommodate us. We will definitely return to Captain Bill's!
Service was great. We got a table outside. They had heaters which was nice since it was a little chilly on the water. All food was great and came out promptly. My husbands steak was slightly over done. They took it back graciously and brought him a new one. Deserts were also good.

Captain Bill's is simply the best. Most significantly, the food is amazing. Plus, its location is fantastic. And the staff is great. If you haven't gone yet, then I highly recommend that you do so.
We had a delicious dinner. Our salad was presented attractively and was ample enough to be shared. It was a wedge with blue cheese and bacon crumbles chopped with an oil & vinegar dressing. Our main meal was the broiled sea food platter. Mine was exactly as offered. My husband has a garlic allergy, therefore he couldn't eat the stuffed clams or the potatoes. Our wonderful waitress asked the kitchen to substitute for the non eatables. Many scallops were substituted and rice was given for the potatoes. The service was suburb and her smile added to our anniversary dinner. The complimentary dessert literally topped our meal! We will be back and we will encourage our friends to make reservations!!!
Beautiful restaurant. All the staff were friendly and very professional. It was our 33 year anniversary we were celebrating last night. Honestly it was our first time ever.coming there. You have lifetime customers that's how amazing we thought Captain Bills is. I even bought a tshirt to remember the anniversary! Thanks Captain Bill and all your staff!! We will see you soon!
Beautiful quiet place and kind of romantic. We had a little bit of an issue with appetizer but they were so nice to right away take it off our check and they even took off one of the drinks. Other than that the food was great, the location was so beautiful, the ambience was so beautiful but it would be perfect for my taste if the lighting was a tiny bit more dimmer. The service is beyond awesome from the start to the end. They have booths, indoor and outdoor dining, and tables. So many options for seating. Thank you so much Captain Bill's and it's team for having us.
Beautiful quaint restaurant on the water. Greeted by a very friendly hostest and we were seated at a window table as we requested. Our server was amazing, friendly & very accommodating. Food was great. I got the linguini with shrimp & lobster. It was delicious & had good amount of shrimp & lobster meat. My friend had seafood platter & was very pleased with it. Definitely will return.
