It's totally my go-to spot all year round! This cute little beach is perfect for families to hang out, plus the food is delicious. You can always count on good music and a great time.

Was here for a party. The place was noisy, and obnoxiously crowded. They charged an exorbitant rate for mediocre pre-frozen food products and had the absolute WEAKEST drinks you’ve ever had. Seriously, how can a $35 “bucket” of margarita not even make you tipsy? A complete rip-off.

Dirty , food is consistently inconsistent. Nothing more than a concession stand. Staff is great Place ia dirty. Consider using a power washer once a week. Please explain why the upstairs patio is always closed ….. plenty of security! I understand why the bar upstairs is closed. But. Clearly that is the best spot at the Shack. I would blame poor management or mis management. Clean the gum up on the dance floor. DUMP

I, Ayesha, was so shocked to See such beauty right in my back yard. Me and my family heard from a friend that the vibez was right. So rightfully so me and my Sister Lisa drove out to Salt Shack, in Babylon NY. The food, the atmosphere and the Live band that day was most amazing. Me and my family enjoyed everything about it.

Wow!! Parking was easy & free, dinner was plentiful & delish, security was super friendly & our table had the best view of the ocean!! A must go to when you're on Long Island

Great atmosphere on the beach with live music. Awesome place to just chill with a small or large group of friends. Bring a chair and sit on the beach or sit at the tables set up inside and outside.

Nice place but there is an extremely rude manager that works there. We were seated at a table which was a high top and not good for my back. We asked a staff member if we could move and push two small tables together. The staff member agreed and arranged the tables for us. Shortly after the manager(a tall, thin woman with long straight hair) came to the tables and accused us of moving the tables ourselves. She told us the staff is not allowed to do that so we must have done it ourselves. A very pleasant evening was ruined by such a rude person who is obviously in the wrong profession .

We were at the beach to hear a band ply & decided to get food there. The choices were decent, not great but ok. The food itself was fair. I had a chicken caesar wrap - it was fair. Very little chicken. Mostly lettuce. My wife had the same thing & had the same comment. Prices are high, but I expected that because there was no competition at the beach for food. Long line, Slow service. However, I do need to say that the person that took my order was very nice & friendly.

We had a fun night that almost felt normal during this time of Covid. We got a table in the vip area. It’s taped off and private. The cost is credited back with a voucher to use for food and drinks. There’s no dancing but the live music with the ocean views was much needed.
No "Have It Your Way" as Burger King offers. They will not make your food the way you want it, only the way they want to sell it. Couldn’t get the chicken wrap without the avocado and they wouldn’t make the short ribs sandwich without the horseradish sauce. The arrogant manager told me “it works good for us”! Poorly run restaurant but a nice casual place to hang out.
