I recently ordered two ice cream cakes for my son's 1st birthday party, placing the order a few days in advance. I sent someone to pick up the cakes on the day of the event, but unfortunately, only one cake was provided. Upon calling to resolve the issue, one of the staff members gave a half-hearted apology and immediately blamed the person picking up the cakes, claiming they failed to ask for two cakes. However, the issue was much more fundamental—only one cake had even been prepared, so the blame placed on the customer was entirely unwarranted.
The staff member's apology was insincere, and her response was both unprofessional and unhelpful. The situation seemed to stem from a basic misunderstanding of the order, which was simple and straightforward: two cakes, one name. It’s disappointing that such a small and clear request could be mishandled. While the original staff member who took the order did apologize and mentioned she would escalate the issue to the manager, as many of us know, that often leads to no follow-through—and in this case, nothing was done to address the error.
It's unfortunate that a straightforward order could be overlooked, especially for such an important occasion. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

Best birthday cake in Long Island. At least that’s what we were told. I ordered it to surprise my husband and it was delivered fast and exactly as ordered.

Went into the store all excited to get smoothies/milkshakes for the family at around 9:40pm and the representative behind the counter stated that the machines were being cleaned, the only thing available was cones. The online listing states this store closes at 10:30pm. What sense to even remain open if majority of things are unavailable after a certain time. Just ridiculous.

I used to live near this ice cream shop, and even though I've moved to NYC, I still make sure to visit whenever I'm back. The ice cream is a bit pricey, but it tastes really good. They use top-notch ingredients, and each scoop brings back memories of home. The shop itself is cozy, and the staff are always friendly. It's worth the splurge for a taste of nostalgia.

Love carvel but not this location they constantly close at 10 when the hours say 10:30 and they cut off online delivery earlier as well used to love this location but not anymore sorry :/

I went in Carvel to last night to get a thing of ice cream half the soft serve machines were down and it was 9:30 p.m. The store closes at 10:00 p.m. I don't understand why they close the machines so early I understand you have to clean them but don't you do that after the store shuts?
