Ordered take out online. The website said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived after 30 minutes and it still wasn’t ready even when the website said it was ready for pickup. The restaurant did not appear busy. Finally after 50 minutes it was ready. When he came to hand me my order, he gave me an ATTITUDE when I commented on the long wait time. AWFUL customer service.

I give Hazuki Sushi a strong 4 stars. The food was fresh, well-made, and clearly handled with care. Sushi rolls were flavorful and nicely presented, and the fish quality was solid — no complaints there. One of the best touches? They gave edamame on the house, which was a nice surprise and a good start to the meal.
That said, a couple of things held it back from a perfect score. The fried rice tasted great, but the portion was noticeably small — felt like it should’ve been more for the price. And the wait time was a bit longer than expected, even though the place wasn’t packed.
It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you’re paying for quality. Just don’t expect fast service or huge portions. Overall, if you’re in the mood for good sushi and don’t mind spending a little extra, Hazuki’s worth checking.
