Look, I love Hazuki. Their food is always good. They have a habit, however, of forgetting or messing up orders and then just telling you that you have credit for next time. This is the second time it’s happened to me. That’s just unacceptable.

This is without a doubt one of the best sushi places in Long Island. The staff is very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is amazing! If you are thinking on visiting; give it a try! I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed!

Buyer beware! We waited over an hour for our take out order when I finally asked for it to be cancelled. I asked for a receipt showing the cancellation but was told there would be none because I did NOT receive the food and would nit be charged. Today my credit card shows a purchase of $82.01, I called my card company and reported the fraud. Shame on Hazuki. You can apologize all you want. Fraud is Fraud!

Sushi is great but sadly unless you order through an app you’re at the back of the line.Never have any issues through DoorDash, etc. but when you order with them directly for pick up it takes an unreasonable amount of time.I have no issue waiting but when you go there to pickup the order for the estimate wait time and have to wait 30 minutes longer it’s not reasonable. When you wait 45 minutes the next time and then keep getting the run around and finally cancel they have no issue with it.$100+ order and they don’t care or show any level of customer service. Sadly I won’t be ordering from here anymore and I did weekly.

I’ve been looking for a good sushi takeout place in the area after a few disappointing showings from other places. Hazuki did not disappoint and it will be my go to going forward.As you can see from the pictures, I got carried away and over ordered for my wife and I, but I got more for my money than most other places, especially for the quality. The fish was very fresh and very tasty. The fish still tasted fresh and had no issue the next day for lunch.Basic rolls were fairly priced, I loved the spicy scallop hand roll. The only thing that left something to be desired was the takoyaki, it was smaller and less saucey than I’ve had before and prefer. It still tastes good though.Make this your go to sushi place, I will be!

I like this place for the sushi and sashimi combo platter the most in Glen Cove. It is very simple and straight forward.No piece is overly dressed nor proceeded. The cuts are just right, thick enough for you to indulge a bit but not overly obsessed. Absolutely perfect for a minimalist like me.Besides the taste, I also like the arrangement. It is like a Maiko, an apprentice Geisha, so youthful and artful.The service is great as well. Those girls pay attention to details, such as opening the door for you, answering questions with a humble smile, etc. if they don't know the answers., they don't pretend.I am a fan despite the three slices lemon in my sushi and sashimi tray were not too Maiko. Lol! It is life, I kind of enjoying sometimes the imperfection of perfection. It is real.Thank you, the boss lady who helped me arrange my Uber Eats pickup yesterday. I will be back soon.Parking: Free strip mall parking.

First, I would like to start by saying that this restaurant NEVER disappoints in food, service or atmosphere. I have lived in Glen Cove and have been here numerous times with my family and have ordered take out there too. The owner and her family are extremely wonderful people, who get to know their customers personally and are always very attentive. Second, I would like to say that the food is always fresh and delicious. Lastly, this comment is geared toward another reviewer, Julie Panteleone. You wrote a review about the night you entered. First, you walked in with an air of entitlement and were greeted with prompt and quick attention and service. The young man cleaned the table you asked for and you stood in the place for no more than 5 minutes to make as many observations as you claim, before you rudely walked out after looking at your phone like you needed a red carpet rolled out for you. You also included my husband and I in your review, saying we looked bored out of our minds and I gave you a look like, "Don't do it!" You made a classic assumption before even knowing the facts. I was not bored. I was enjoying a meal with my husband and the fact that he was still alive because he had gotten into an accident earlier where he could have died. So stressed, yes, but bored ...NO. Another reason one should never make assumptions about how people feel or what they are thinking. You weren't even a thought in my mind. Not until I witnessed how rude you were to the staff. So, next time you write a review and you are able to make whatever statements you want, please consider the amount of hours these people work and provide service to make an honest living. Reviews like yours that didn't contain facts can ruin the livelihood of others who depend on what they do to take care of their families.

I walked in on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm. The place reeked of fish, which was the first turn off. My guest, the one who suggested the place, insisted it was normal for them.All the empty tables were filthy. The couple at the first table looked bored out of their minds like they had been waiting forever. I felt like the lady's eyes were screaming at us "DON'T DO IT!"The couple towards the back looked just as pleased.The workers were clearly busy with the take out orders, as they were running back and forth quite a lot. They acknowledged that my guest and I had arrived, at least. Then they send a gentleman over to offer to clean a table for us. He asks us which table to clean, I clearly point towards the middle one. The young man cleans a different table. Then I ask again for the table that we wanted, the one NOT jammed in the corner. He starts to clean my choice table. He throws the crumbs onto the bench where we are expected to sit, leaves the drink/soy sauce rings untouched, and half of the table still dry and schmeared with hand prints. He then looks up at us, and I am not lying here, looks straight at us and says, "That's good enough, right?"I get it: it was clearly a busy night. I've worked in restaurants and mom & pop dining joints all my life. Nothing like a busy Saturday with unexpectedly good weather and a whole lot of business that you are understaffed for. Maybe they didn't want us to stay and have a meal there. That's a possibility too. Take-out is probably how they stay in business if that is the kind of service they offer to every one.I will never understand how this place had a 5 star rating because I wouldn't order food from this place to give to a junk-yard dog.
