Absolutely amazing we sat outside- we were the only table outside it was a beautiful night. It was like private dining. The food is incredible the staff is amazing the atmosphere was just beautiful and overall it was just a beautiful night. The street is lit up with lights. You can count on an amazing meal from this restaurant every time. My husband had the pork chop special highly recommend I had a chicken dish and a salad special that was so tasty.

I highly recommend the ambiance and food at La Bussola. It is a bit far from our home and were last there about a year ago, but I hadn't forgotten how good our meals were. We were in the area again on Saturday and I quickly jumped at the opportunity to pay another visit. We were lucky to run into Tony, one of the Founder's four sons who all, with their children, still operate the family business. Our waiter was Tony's nephew and could not have been more attentive or professional. The food lived up to the family legacy and was exceptional; from the fusilli marinara to the lemon pesto gnocchi, and my favorite, rigatoni all'Amatriciana. The four of us went through a gamut of chicken, veal, fish and homemade sausage. As good as the food was, the service was even better. For me, it really is one of the best three restaurants for Italian food in Nassau County, and that says a lot.

If you love Osso Bucco as I do, then this is your place! Delicious, as is everything in this understated Italian restaurant. This was my third time dining here and it consistently pleases. My boyfriend had the Suppa de Mare, which was also fabulous. Can't wait to go back!

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with its walls complimented with photos of the owner's family photos ❤️The staff was so professional and Carlo , the owner, was ever present, chatting with all the diners. I have hosted many celebrations here and also come for date nights. La Bussola never disappoints!

It was a ten! Delicious. I had the branzino and my mother had the veal franchise. The ricotta cheese cake was the best I had. Martinis were perfect and although we didn't do vino on this visit, the wine list looked excellent. Already booked another resi for next week!

La Bussola is one of the finer Italian restaurants on Long Island. The selection of food is plentiful and delicious! I wish I had photos of all the food from my daughter’s christening reception, but of course we were too busy eating it. Ambiance was wonderful and quaint. Service was friendly and attentive. La Bussola is a special place.. true gem on the North Shore. A massive thank you to the entire staff for creating the best experience for my loved ones!
The service and food were both very good. Armando was our very good waiter. Everything came to the table hot and as ordered, though the time between the appetizers and entrees was a little long. The one drawback we felt was that when the comedian(s) came on - which we were not there for - the language was more "blue" than expected for a venue such as that. We were taken aback by how adult the comedy was.
