The food was outstanding. The waitress was rushed and over looked the mash potatoes that had dairy, which I'm allergic to. Didn't ask if we wanted more tea or coffee. Too many tables for her to cover. Great menu. Other staff was welcoming and friendky. A nice homey atmosphere! Would love tl come back!

Dinner was fantastic we had the Berkshire Chop, homemade tagliatelle and the appetizer zucchini flowers were delicious. Followed by an incredible delicious napoleon so light and crunchy. It's what a Saturday dinner should always be.

We have been to La Ginestra for over 30 years. It is a go to for excellent Italian food. Unfortunately, the service was below par. We ordered appetizers, a pasta to share at the table and our main course. The appetizers were slow to arrive. The pasta never arrived until the main course. Pasta with mushrooms just did not work as a side. The server apologized as she was accountable for the mishap. The food was excellent.

My wife and I love dining at La Ginestra and have rarely been disappointed with anything, including the service, the ambiance and the food. Tonight we ordered Chicken Scarpariello and must say it was VERY dry. Unfortunately all the ingredients were right (chicken, potatoes, peppers and garlic) but it was very overcooked and there was absolutely no sauce/juice of any kind. Perhaps it was a fluke, but we will not order it again. On the other hand, everything else was very good, though our coffee had a "burnt" taste, but after the dry chicken we just chalked it up to not our best night at La Ginestra.
