Horrible service. This place doesn't know how to handle their customers. I placed an order thru grubhub. Grubhub contacted me and inform me the order might take longer then usual and ask if I wa t to wait . I told them no I rather order from else where and try them again another day when they not busy . I placed another order with them and they cancel my order with no explanation so I called to find out they cancel my order because grubhub told me it would take too long . Why is this my fault. Keep away . They don't care about their customer at all . I order from this place at least once a week . I guess now it will be NEVER!

My opinion is 5/10. Best thing was the lomo Salado juicy and rich, but french fries could have been fresh def tasted not the freshest. The jalea, grilled seafood combo, def wasn't fresh, this is NY lol. But I mean didn't taste the freshest fried either didn't come out warm so eh. The inka cola was nice I was there to try. They didn't have a lot of drinks like pisco sour during lunch only sangria, which was below average. The chicken Milanese was very good fried well and juicy. No complaints on that. The bistek de povre, steak dish was ok egg fried ok, steak was juicy but a little tough even tho tenderized. The aji, didn't tasted right almost like it sat out too long and kinda dried out, def subtracted from the experience since aji adds flavor to Peruvian meals. I never had picaronnes, fried Peruvian donut rings, before, but I enjoyed them a lot, my friends liked them but not the juice at the bottom I think it was too boozy for them for me it has a vanilla liquor flavor which I enjoyed. Be careful this review this location is from different owners and staff from the other Vicharra in Glen Cove. So if you don't or do enjoy your experience here you may or may not enjoy yourself at the other location since they are different. Again this is just my opinion. Just had dinner there tonight. I ordered fish with rice and french fries. My wife ordered t/chicken w/rice and fries. Both meals came overly saturated in a salty brown/red sauce making them inedible. Could not taste the fish or chicken. Mentioned this to the owner and he laughed. Odd experience. Disappointing to say the least.

This spot clearly knows how to treat their clients. Always with a helpful mindset. The food is fairly priced, constantly flavorful and clean.

Ordered here for the first time yesterday. Large portions for the price but they unfortunately did not follow food requests. Asked for no onions twice in the Lomo Saltado and was still given prob a whole red onion in my food! Quite annoying but besides that the flavor was good!

Very nice! Great atmosphere for a friendly quiet afternoon lunch for me and my daughter. Jalea was amazing..... amazing. Daughter had tacu tacu con bistek.... delicious, couldn't finish it portions were so large, leftovers were for dinner.Very nice service from a friendly and attentive waitress who described specials in detail and answered our questions.Have the anticucho.... you will be very glad you did..... they are making magic in that kitchen!

We were at the restaurant at 10am. However, nothing was ready. We waited an hour driving around Glen Cove. The wait was worthwhile. The breakfast was delicious! The service outstanding!

Everyone here is so nice and the food is incredible. Wasn’t initially sure what Peruvian was going to taste like, as it was my first time having it, but the steak, plantains, rice and empanadas were all so so so good. Portions were huge for the price. Would recommend to anyone thinking about it!
