Boy has this McDonald's changed. The new layout that emphasizes mobile and kiosk ordering makes sense but makes the restaurant look more like a factory than fast paced restaurant it used to be. While I understand the elimination of the customer self service soda fountains and refills due to cost concerns, I witnessed a customer requesting a little water be told he had to buy a bottle because the fountains are unable to dispense plain water. Not to mention them telling another...

Mcdonald's is McDonald's and if you go to McDonald's you'll find that they'll serve you McDonald's.
And usually the ice cream machine is broken.
It's not so bad. Don't order all the big stuff. Get a couple cheeseburgers or something.
