Meritage is always a go-to for a fun night out with friends. The wine list is great, the appetizers are consistently delicious, and there’s always a good drink special. A few favorites we never skip: the meatballs, calamari, baked clams, Brussels sprouts, and cheese platter.
We recently went to one of their monthly wine dinners—this one was “America the Beautiful”—and it was honestly outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, the wine pairings were spot on, and Alex shared just the right mix of wine knowledge, winemaker stories, and history to keep it fun and interesting.
And as always, Kylie, Ana, and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome. Great food, great vibes—can’t wait to go back.

Cozy & Cute! The food was very tasty. The salmon dish & meatball plates were great! The chicken & waffles (especially the spicy BBQ sauce) was yummy. Not too busy and the greeter was so nice!

New to the area, last night was our first experience at Meritage. It most certainly will not be our last. The happy hour brussel sprouts and meatballs a must try, but there was only so much we could eat after the delicious bottle and board wine/charcuterie special. We look forward to our next culinary experience at Meritage.

I highly recommended Meritage as a booking venue. I held my sisters engagement party, and my own engagement dinner here recently. Alex the owner crafted an excellent menu for us, there were lots of options. I adored the new renovations as well, with a private space in the back. The eclectic atmosphere and cuisine was a hit with our guests,. My fiancée and I will be back for the wine tasting events.

Loved the food and the decor in this place. I know V day is amateur hour and sometimes can be overwhelming for staff but I feel like the staff was very green. They meant well and were always concerned but they made their frustrations and nervousness too obvious in the dining area. A couple of good wait staff could help that place kill it. The food is good enough to attract loyal clientele. Drinks were tasty but weak. Had to request stronger ones twice. Overall a good experience. I would go back but would love to see service improvements. Again, the staff meant well but they need some organization and direction.

I usually love the mussels - but it was way too oily and very very spicy and I like spicy but it was way too hot !

Sent my kids for NYE , Tasting menu . The server had no answers what they were serving , They blasted a DJ right next to the table . People leaning on the table as you are eating . Stay away

Meritage Wine Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a perfect evening. The lighting was soft and romantic.
Our server, Alicia, was phenomenal! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and had the kind of warm demeanor that made us feel completely taken care of. Her recommendations were spot on, and she elevated our entire experience.
The food was exceptional—plated beautifully and cooked to perfection. Every bite was tender and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into each dish.
This was a night to remember, and we will absolutely be back for another incredible evening. Thank you, Meritage Wine Bar, and a special thanks to Alicia for making it unforgettable!

Two of us had lasagna and one of us had chicken parmesan. When we bit into them, all three dishes were frozen! I would not go back because of this.

His list has interesting wines from around the world. We own a winery (Flanagan wines) in Sonoma County CA so we really appreciate it when someone cares about wine and puts together a great list!
