I love Pio Pio and been a customer for many years but after today I will never go back. I went for a birthday dinner today with my family. We realized that water was dripping from the roof and we said something the first time and they didn’t care to do anything. Food arrived and water dripped right onto the food and of course I wasn’t going to eat it so I said something to the manager they offered to move us but we refused because at this point everyone’s food had came already and we didn’t want to deal with the hassle of reseating everyone and moving everything. On top of that the guy with colored eyes and beard was extremely rude to my family when we asked if we could have napkins to put on the table from where the water was dripping and they said no, when we asked him a simple question about our food he looked so annoyed and told us “I don’t know who’s food is this I don’t know anything” first of all your our server you shouldn’t have a nasty attitude with the customer you can simply say it nicely if anything. No one every came to refill our water not once when usually i know they go around refilling the cups when water is running low. They gave us a free dessert but im sorry that doesn’t make up for the dirty water that was dripping onto multiple family members plates and having our backs wet with dirty water on our clothes.

I have been to the Queens location in the past and loved it. The Glen Cove location was disappointing Very pricey. Food took a very long time and it was not crowded; table that came after us was served well before we were. Food was very salty. Lomo Salgado comes with French fries which were soggy. Very disappointing especially for the price
I have visited other Pio pio restaurants and I was not impressed with this location. The portions were not too big for the price charged. I know evening is expensive but come on.

Loved the food! For apps, we shared the papa a la huancaina & pulpo (octopus). The octopus is huge. For entrees, we had the ceviche mixto and Corvina a lo macho. The Corvina was not as spicy as I wanted, so I requested hot sauce on the side. It was very good with a lot of flavor and a good variety of seafood. My party tried the pisco sour, maracueya sour, and the red sangria and were happy with all the drinks. Tried the inca cola as well.

One of my go to restaurants always solid food. We ordered the ceviche, paella, and combo. Everything was fresh and tasty definitely the paella was a favorite among the group 10/10. Ceviche was fresh and chicken i. The combo was slightly dry but still tasty. Food came out quick too!

Ordenamos pollo a la brasa para el día del padre 6/15/25 en Pio Pio at Glen Cove y es inaceptable para su precio que a la ensalada hallan puesto aguacate en mal estado y para rematarla el pollo quemado. Por alguna razón no puedo poner las fotos. Espero volver y hablar con el dueño.
