Very poor experience. We ordered mazari plao rice and chicken nuggets. Those are not money to value even though mazari plao lam were smelly

For our henna night, we chose Mazar Kabab in Glen Cove, and it turned out to be a spectacular decision. The ambiance created within the space was nothing short of magical, thanks in large part to Zaiba, the daughter of the restaurant owners. She worked closely with us on the decorations, transforming the venue into a beautifully inviting environment that perfectly captured the spirit of the evening.
Zaiba's eye for detail and her creative touch made the place look stunning. We were able to comfortably accommodate around 120 guests, and the space was still ample enough for a night full of dancing, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The setting, combined with the warm hospitality and exceptional service, made our henna night incredibly special and memorable.
I can't thank Zaiba and Mazar Kabab enough for their dedication and hard work in making our celebration so successful. For anyone looking to host an event that calls for a beautiful setting and impeccable service, I wholeheartedly recommend Mazar Kabab. They truly went above and beyond, ensuring everything was perfect!

Delicious food and fair portions- recommend the eggplant dish and lamb shank!
Ordered mixed kebab platter for $25. Got a very small serving of kebab for this price and it was not enough for dinner for even one person. The helping should be suitable for dinner

First timer. Absolutely delicious. I had the dumplings and the lamb kebab. So flavorful and the service was friendly.

It was the second time I tried their sher yakh it was not good. The first time they told me it was not fresh. But they second time before I went I called them to make sure Sher yakh was fresh and they said yes. Both times I tried was not good at all.
The food is fine but they charge 30% for table 5% credit card fee on top of the bill is not worth it. This was my first and last visit.
This was the most unpleasant experience we had at a restaurant. We hosted a party here without knowing what we were in for, and the owner couldn't care less about managing the event. She has an expression on her face that looks like she doesn't want to be working, and that's the attitude she approaches guests with. It's unfortunate that this restaurant belonged to Sami's Kabab House where customer service was a priority, and was handed down to a family that wants to tear that priority down. The tables weren't cleaned, the tea wasn't refilled, and the mother/daughter had makeup artists come to the restaurant in the middle of our event to ready themselves for another gathering. What a joke! I'll be filing a formal complaint with The New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection.

We had a birthday party at this place and very disappointed by the meat which was not tender at all and hard to eat. This place is.a rip off and not at all happy with dinning here and charged just like it is a highway robbery. We will never ever go to.this place and NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS THEY WANT TO.BE RIPPED.OFF. WORST PLACE TO.DINE.

Restaurantji Recommends
Everything tasted amazing and the meat was very tender. The service from the lady in the front was very good. The only thing I will recommend is that the Afghan bread should be served hot. Highly recommend to try!!

I got their lamb sabzi, and it was incredible. Sadly I only got take-out, because when I picked it up, the interior was absolutely gorgeous! I will definitely be back to eat indoors. What a nice place to have in this part of town.
