My birthday celebration was a magical night that I will always remember. I met with Raj and Rekha to explain my vision of what I wanted my birthday to look like and to say to least I’m very particular. They listened and executed my vision by paying attention to the smallest details. My guests still rave about the food and cocktails. The staff were friendly and helpful and service was impeccable. They exceeded my expectations and I would definitely use this venue again for another special occasion.

This past weekend we rented The Metropolitan for a 50th wedding anniversary. The owner and staff were extremely accommodating to all our needs. The venue is very clean and decorated elegantly. I highly recommend this venue for any occasion you may have as they can accommodate small to large parties. Thank you for the memorable experience with my family.

I hosted my husband’s surprise birthday at The Metropolitan, and all I can say is everything was perfection from start to finish.I was not able to go meet Mr.Raj in person as I did not want the birthday boy to suspect anything, so all the communication took place over the phone.( I had been to a few events here before and was familiar with the venue layout).Mr. Raj worked with Shan ( Shaheen) to make sure everything was top notch. The color coordination and decor matched my theme without me having to provide any pictures for reference.My friends who went to set up were so impressed with the flexibility at the venue and commented how they had never worked with someone who was so accommodating.I would recommend The Metropolitan without hesitation and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would.Thank you for everything and making the birthday surprise extra special:)

Came for a band and had dinner. Red wine and Prosecco undrinkable. Eggplant from freezer. Took forever for the table to be bussed. And it's freezing! Hoping the band will make up for the restaurant. They'll never get another dime from us.
Food was excellent! Loved the pork chop and crab cakes!

This is a great place to have an event! We had such a wonderful experience with Mr. Rajeev Maini, Jose and the rest of the staff. Mr. Rajeev Maini and his entire team were extremely professional, thorough and friendly. They listened to our vision, thoughts and concern. They made our vision come to light! From the venue, set up, decorations, food, drinks, and ambiance - everything was absolutely PERFECT! We are so happy with the service and highly recommend them!

FIVE STARS + !!! We recently hosted my mom's 60th birthday party here, and wanted it to be a bit extravagant. From the very first day when we met the owners, Rajeev and Rekha, we were blown away by their hospitality! We searched for a few places, but The Metropolitan by far is a unique and beautiful place with a wonderful layout, inside and out, and we immediately booked it.But it didn't end there. Throughout the three months, Rajeev stayed in contact with us assisting us with every single part of the process.We've hosted multiple events in our lives, in many different venues on Long Island, and working with The Metropolitan was a refreshing experience, setting an absolutely new level.They held our hand through the entire process of finding a DJ/MC, Caterer, Decor, and even helped us find a make up artist!Food was PHENOMENAL and the entire staff was also very caring, spoke kindly, and no ask was too big or small, they just handled it!The day off the event, Rajeev and Rehka became a seamless part of the party, checking every detail and assisting us manage the entire event. They and their staff have an amazing ability to make sure every single guest feels welcomed and attended!If you're thinking about going anywhere else, don't. Rajeev and Rehka's hospitality is out of this world. Any obstacle you run into, they will make sure it's solved, and every single guest will have an amazing time!

The experience I got from my cousin's wedding here was phenomenal! The environment overall was well assembled for excellent acoustics, alongside beauty. The food was well served with full Indian authenticity (for my case). The staff members were quite consistent in delivering superb service. I felt that the wedding was certainly well planned with everyone who was involved in making the wedding happen. I will always have the fond memories that were formed here!
