The food is incredible and the service is amazing. Glen Cove is lucky to have this restaurant here. It has a real small town feel with city quality food. I strongly recommend giving The View a try and you'll be sure to be back
Parking: Easy parking near the entrance.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's easy to get to the table if you have someone in the party with limited mobility.

My family had our repass here after funeral service. With so much going on, I called on short notice. I spoke with Fred and Jeanine. They were so awesome! My menu was the Asian salmon, chicken portobello, penne Ala vodka, along with salad, rice pilaf, and vegetables. With a fruit platter for dessert. The food was amazing!!! We couldn't get enough of the rice pilaf. Everything was great. The staff was very attentive to all the guest needs. There was not one complaint. We had a total of 17 guests, and all were happy. Now, to me, that's a huge compliment. Not to mention how detailed Fred was about everything. He responded immediately. Was patient and compassionate under the circumstances. Yes! I would highly recommend them for all your catering needs.

I've been coming to The View for over 7 years. Everything about this place is perfect - the food, the hardworking staff, and the view outside. I've had many great meals and memories with good friends here.

Lunch with family was a hit. Burgers and Tuna sandwiches were great. Great service! Our only complaint was the A/C was not cooling and the amount of flies in the eating area.

I've brought family and friends for dinner and lunch many, many times over the years. We've held several parties for numerous occasions. Most recently we had a graduation party and Jeanine and the staff could not have been more helpful. Everything went perfectly and the food was absolutely awesome. It's truly one of our favorite places to eat. During the day the view of the Long Island Sound is fantastic. Thanks Jeanine, you're a treasure.

I’m here working at a summer camp from England. My friend who is the bartender suggested the place and I tried the fish and chips. They were beautiful! Really reminded me of home. The cocktails were spot on. Ed and Jeanine are amazing staff and will make you feel right at home. Oh and to mention the view… fantastic ocean view.

Very quiet and relaxing place. Been there on a Sunday early afternoon. Ordered two Greek salads with shrimps and grilled salmon. Veggies were fresh, feta cheese good and shrimps delicious, tasty and fresh. A nice spot to relax with a beautiful view on the golf fields and the ocean.

The menu online was not the same menu at the restaurant. The menu is 4 pages total in a binder with sheet protectors. First two pages are alcohol and the next two are food. Just front side only so really one page total. Both had appetizers and salad so it was hard to really figure out what was going on. There was really not many food options. I ordered a burger and it came out cold. The tea tasted horrible like it was instant instead of brewed. The caesar salad came with no dressing on it. It was just iceberg lettuce and few croutons. The shredded Brussels sprouts that was a side for the salmon looked like someone had spit it up. It was hard to tell what it was at first. I got sick from the burger so I will not be back. This food was just overall disappointing and disgusting. This is by far the worst meal I have ever have. The prices are way too much for the quality of food you get. I have heard how great the food is, but tonight it was not good.
