DownTown City Tavern is a locally owned restaurant with great food and service. While some find it a bit too loud due to the lack of acoustics, it's a perfect spot for a Spring or Summer afternoon. The rotating beer menu, especially Sage, and delicious dishes like Tavern Fries, Buffalo Chicken Salad, wood-fired chicken wings, Tavern Meatballs, and Pork BBQ Mac & Cheese are highly recommended. The atmosphere gives off an old pub vibe, making guests feel right at home. Whether dining in or getting takeout, the experience is consistently good. However, parking in downtown Glens Falls can be a challenge during peak hours. Despite this, the prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are decent, earning the restaurant an overall score of 4/5.
